Chapter 2965
My Wife is a Hacker
Gloria raised her eyebrows, âCould it be that heâs got a girlfriend now?â
Everyone was curious about Ellarâs secretive behavior.
Emma shook her head, âI donât think so. I havenât seen any girls around him, and thereâs no hint of one either.â
She would have been less worried if Eliar was just making new friends.
âThen it must be something work-related, which you all arenât part of,â Daniel suggested quietly.
Dexter agreed, âMaybe.â
They werenât involved in the companyâs affairs and couldnât really help.
âItâs time to eat,â Benjamin announced as everyone arrived.
âOkay,â the family replied together and headed to the dining room.
âIs BayCorp very busy lately?â Lulu whispered to Nicole, sitting next to her.
Nicole thought for a moment, then shook her head, âIâm not sure, but it doesnât seem overly busy.â
Lulu, still puzzled, whispered, âItâs weird. If heâs so busy, how does he find time to follow Patricia every day? Maybe heâs gone to see Patricia.â
Considering Ellarâs recent time spent with Patricia, Nicole nodded, âThat could be it.â
âLulu, what are you talking about?â Spencer asked curiously while serving her food.
âItâs nothing,â Lulu replied, turning to Spencer, avoiding the topic of Ellar.
Nicole also turned her attention to Jared, who was serving her food, and gave a slight smile.
âLetâs eat,â Jared said softly.
Nicole nodded and quietly told Jared, âThings arenât going well with Martin, Patriciaâs situation might become difficult.â
Jared whispered back, âShe can stop going on missions and take her time.â
Nicole realized this meant Patricia was now officially out of their organization.
Nicole bit her lip thoughtfully, wondering what Patricia would decide next, now that her previous concerns were no longer an issue.
In Martinâs research lab, Ellar was ready for the experiment.
âAre you sure about this?â Martin asked him one last time.
With a determined look, Ellar nodded, âLetâs start.â
He was beyond having second thoughts, hoping for a result that could help Patricia heal faster and reduce the scars on her face.
âAlright, letâs begin,â Martin agreed, seeing Ellarâs resolve, and got everything set up.
Cindy was there too, ready to help.
Martin applied the medicine to Ellarâs arm and waited to see his reaction.
âIt stings a bit, but I can handle it,â Ellar said, then reminded Martin, âYou might need to change the amount though. This is my arm, and Patriciaâs treatment is for her face.â
Since the face was more sensitive, Patricia might feel more pain.
Martin gave Ellar a serious look, âYou should be more worried about yourself right now.â
The risk of poisoning was a bigger concern than pain.
Ellar fell silent, realizing his suggestion had upset Martin.
Meanwhile, Martin kept a close eye on Ellar, watching for any changes in his condition.
