Chapter 130
The Alpha’s Little Rogue
A month later.
Alessiaâs POV
Itâs so hard to keep p it a secret.
Iâve been hiding the fact that Iâm pregnant from Caden for a few weeks now. I want to tell him as a gift on his birthday which is just a week from now.
It is hard to keep such a thing a secret when Iâm sharing the same space with the man 24/7 but I want to believe that Iâm doing a very good job.
Right now, weâre laying on the bed with my head on Cadenâs shoulders as he plays with my hair.
âWhat do you want us to call our baby?â I ask then quickly add, âI mean, it isnât bad for us to start thinking of names now. Not that Iâm pregnant or anything.â I cringe after Iâm done, wishing that I had just kept quiet from the very beginning. It will be a miracle if Caden still hasnât figured out whatâs going on here.
âI was thinking Anna. Itâs after my mother, Caden answers, twirling a piece of my hair around his fingers. âIt would be nice if we could name our daughter after her.â
âAnna,â I repeat, trying the name out for a spin. âItâs a lovely name.â The fact that it holds a sentimental value to him makes the name more beautiful
âAnd if itâs a boy, then Iâm thinking Caden Jr. I donât need to crane my head up to know that he has a stupi d smirk on his face.
I scoff and hit him on his chest -something that Iâve taken great pleasure in doing now that his wound is completely healed
âIâm not going to be calling our son Caden Jr,â I say, rolling my eyes. âHe needs a name of his own.â
âWell, we have a long time to think of a name for him or her. Itâs not like theyâre going to be here in a few months.â Cadenâs fingers slide through my hair to my back and he wraps his arm around my waist, pulling me closer.
I stiffen at his words. âIt wouldnât be terrible if we had a name now though.â I try to smoothen it all out with a casual shrug.
âIs there something that you want to tell me?â Caden asks suspiciously. His finger slides under my chin and tip my head up to meet his gaze. âWhat are you hiding?â He asks with an arched brow.
âNothing.â I say hurriedly and swallow around a lump in my throat. âIâm not hiding anything, I add for good measure.
âYou do know that youâre a terrible liar, right?â He questions with an annoying smile on his face. âI can smell it all over you.â
Now, Iâm just starting to get annoyed. âIâm not lying,â I object defensively, leveling Caden with a glare and pulling away from
him.
He drags me right back into his arms. âWeâve been living together for months, Alessia. Do you really think that I wouldnât notice that something is going on with you?â
âYou know?â I ask in disbelief.
âProbably before you even figured it out,â he brags.

Chapter 130
Groaning. I cover my face with my hands and bury my face into his chest as it burns in embarrassment.
To think I thought I had Caden fooled for weeks, while he was probably laughing within himself as he watched me.
âWhy didnât you say anything?â I accuse, hitting him on the chest again because he deserves it for making me come across a a fool
He groans, clamping my hand in his and acting as though that little punch actually caused him pain.
âIt was cute to watch you try to hide it to surprise me.â He smiles down at me. âI also didnât want to spoil your plans by ruining the surprise.â
âThen why did you just admit to knowing about it?â His birthday is a week from now. He could have just kept mute and let me continue to believe that I had him fooled. It would have saved me from feeling like an idiot.
âI donât like pretending that I canât hear you throwing up every morning in the bathroomâ He gives me a tender look that has my heart singing. âI want to be beside you to hold your hair over the toilet and force you to eat the meals that you keep picking at.â
I blink, stunned into silence.
âI thought that I could hold on for one more week but I canât keep silent when you need me.â He smiles apologetically. âIâm
y for ruining your surprise. Iâll make it up to you.â
My eyes water at his words but Iâm going to blame it on the hormones. âThatâs so sweet, I confess, raising up and placing at kiss on his lips that deepens into a make-out session
Soon. Iâm straddling Cadenâs hip and rocking into his hard- o n. Cadenâs hands gripping my hip stop my movement.
I look at him in confusion.
âHow do you feel about us moving out of the pack house and into our house?â He asks.
I still, my heart soaring. You mean that?â I love this pack house but I have to admit that it will be fun to have a line that we could call ours.
âYeah, I do.â He cups my face. âIt will just be me, you, Lucy, and our baby.â
I grin so hard that it feels like my face is going to split into two. âI would love that. Do you have a place in mind?â
âI was thinking of the house where you had your first heat. Then he hurriedly adds, âWe could always build another if you donât like it. It will take a long time and we might not be able to move in before the baby arrives but-â
I recall the calm and quiet house with a lake on the side and I remember the memories we shared in that same house. âItâs perfect,â I say, silencing him with a kiss. It will be the perfect place for us to start a home together and I canât wait for this next chapter of our lives.
The End.
Thanks for joining Caden and Alessia on their journey to finding love.
