Chapter 708 - Don’t Find a Random Woman For Yunxiao

Lu Jingye sat there and looked perfectly calm and collected. “My wife is rather timid.”

Zhang Ze believed Lu Jingye’s words and even kindly reminded him. “In that case, Mr. Lu should protect Mrs. Lu well. After all, there are not many kind souls here and I’m afraid they might hurt Mrs. Lu out of clumsiness.”

Lu Jingye looked at him with a calm expression. He tapped his finger on his thigh and did not reply immediately. However, he did exude a powerful and sharp aura.

The two brothers were currently sitting on the sofa and having a discussion.

However, she was afraid that they would not be able to gather all the materials.

Even though Lu Jingye did not want Zi Yi to get in contact with those people, they had no other choice.

Lu Jingye raised his hand and gently stroked her hair. “There’s a restaurant there, but it might not suit your tastes.”

Zi Yi looked at him with a confused expression.

Lu Jingye added. “The dishes there taste a bit too strong.”

Zi Yi originally thought he meant that the restaurant used plenty of spices in their dishes. However, when she sat down in the restaurant, she looked at the menu. The dishes were either made using protected animals in their country or made with various ingredients that were restricted. She silently took out the snacks Lu Jingye specially prepared for her and started to eat them.

“I don’t like to eat these things. You two should eat less of them too.”

The three of them had changed their appearances before they came over.

Lu Jingye looked like an ordinary businessman right now, while Lu Yunxiao was the bodyguard and Zi Yi had tanned her skin color and added freckles all over her face.

The two men had retracted the auras that they radiated and so they had not attracted anyone’s attention from the moment they entered the clubhouse.

Lu Jingye and Lu Yunxiao had eaten a large bowl of noodles before they came out and so, it did not matter much to them if they ate or not.

They were mainly there to accompany Zi Yi to experience the dishes here.

Zi Yi took a sip of the warm water and asked, “No one has ever expressed their dissatisfaction with the fact that the restaurant serves such food?”

Lu Jingye did not answer her. Instead, he motioned for her to look at the other customers.

Several men who looked as if they had returned from the wild were sitting next to their table. All of them drank large mouthfuls of alcohol and took a large bite of the meat. There was no need to mention how much they seemed to be enjoying the food.

His other two companions had also agreed with him.

With a scorching gaze, Zi Yi looked at Lu Jingye who explained to her with a calm expression. She asked, “How do you know this?”

“I have traded with their patriarch before.”

Zi Yi thought about it and said, “Why don’t we go and check out the casino?”

Lu Jingye nodded his head and the three of them headed up to the second floor together.

After they reached the second floor, what they saw was a large hall.

There were all sorts of different games, but all of them were crowded with people.

Everyone playing at the tables were surrounded by many spectators. From time to time, there would be voices of cheering or wailing.

The three of them casually looked around and Zi Yi asked Lu Jingye, “Ah Jing, do you know how to gamble?”

Lu Jingye nodded. “Yes. So does Yunxiao.”

Zi Yi rubbed her hands together and she said, “Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go and experience all the games here.”
