Chapter 727 - As Expected, It’s Good To Have a Beautiful Appearance

He Fei revealed a complicated expression. He looked at Zi Yi and repeated what he said earlier, “Yiyi, I’ll send you out.”

Zi Yi looked at him with a frown. “You don’t believe what you saw?”

He Fei shifted his eyes away and avoided looking at her. He suppressed the strong surge of emotions and said with reddened eyes, “Whether I believe it or not, my father is dead. As his son, it’s a fact that I didn’t return to see him off.”

At the very least, I should avenge my father.

He did not say the last sentence out loud.

Zi Yi looked at He Fei’s reaction and knew that he did not believe what he had just seen. Her lips unconsciously curved up and she sneered. “Forget it if you don’t believe it.”

She did not want to bother explaining it any further either.

Zi Yi could not be bothered to talk to such a one-track-minded person and turned around to leave.

He Fei quickly came over and blocked her way as he said in a heavy voice, “There are Long Aotian’s men all around here. Other than him, Rick and a powerful woman are here too. You aren’t their opponent at all.”

Zi Yi gave him a cold stare. “I’m going to look for Ah Jing.”

He Fei gritted his teeth and was extremely irritable. “I don’t think you’re going to look for him but to die with him instead!”

As soon as he said that, he tried to grab Zi Yi’s arm. “Come with me, I’ll send you out of here.”

Zi Yi turned to the side and blocked his outstretched hand at the same time.

He Fei started to get anxious.

Why doesn’t this woman listen to me? Does she want to die so badly?

The both of them were about to get into a fight, when the sound of footsteps were heard from one side.

Subsequently, Ouyang Ming’s displeased shout sounded, “Ah He, since you found her, why didn’t you call me?!”

The moment He Fei heard Ouyang Ming’s voice, he cursed deep down and stopped trying to grab Zi Yi as he blocked her behind him.

Ouyang Ming was accompanied by Rick and a group of bodyguards.

Zi Yi looked at Rick approaching them and the corner of her lips turned into a scowl.

As expected, the Worm Race had occupied his body.

After Rick approached them, he looked at Zi Yi with a sinister gaze. “Capture her.”

A few of his bodyguards quickly made their way towards her.

He Fei got anxious and shouted, “Don’t come over.”

Rick smiled. His smile was full of mockery. “As expected, it’s good to have a beautiful appearance. Even at this point in time, there are men willing to step out to protect you.”

Ouyang Ming who was standing next to Rick looked at He Fei and Zi Yi with gloomy eyes. He was livid and he shouted, “Ah He, are you out of your mind? I don’t believe Uncle He’s death is unrelated to this woman. If you really protect her, it’s equivalent to protecting an enemy that killed your father! Are you planning to let your father die with remaining grievances?”

The moment He Fei heard Ouyang Ming’s shout, his expression also turned ashen. He said with a taut expression, “She’s a woman. I don’t kill women.”

Ouyang Ming crossed his arms and looked at him coldly. His eyes were full of disappointment.

Rick laughed at the sight of the scene before him happily. “How interesting.”

His expression changed in the next second. “Capture her.”

Seeing that the bodyguards were about to approach her, several silver needles appeared in her fingers.

He Fei stood in front of her blocking the incoming people and shouted, “Who dares to?!”

He quickly released a kick and it landed on the knee of one of the bodyguards.

Rick got angry. “Beat him up!”

The bodyguards quickly surrounded He Fei.

Ouyang Ming originally planned to watch how the show played out but when he saw that He Fei was attacked by the bodyguards, he finally put down his crossed arms and said to Rick in a heavy voice, “Rick, we are comrades and you’re not really going to do anything to He Fei right?”

Rick sneered. “Someone who opposes me every time, do you think he’s still my comrade?”

“You-”

Just then, one of the bodyguards landed a punch on He Fei’s face.

Looking at He Fei getting hit in the face with traces of blood flying out from his mouth, Ouyang Ming became furious. “Stop!”

He subconsciously wanted to head over and help He Fei.

However, just as he took a step forward, Rick’s strange voice sounded. “Haven’t you been wanting to be the overlord here? Do you want me to help you?”

Ouyang Ming’s footsteps stopped.

Rick’s chuckle sounded in his ear. “As long as you catch that woman over there, I’ll give you what you want.”

Ouyang Ming suddenly turned around and looked at Rick.

Both of them made eye contact and Ouyang Ming’s heartbeat sped up.

Rick added. “Lu Jingye will die, and Long Aotian along with the bosses he invited will also die due to infighting. As long as you grasp the opportunity…”

Having said that, the corner of Rick’s lips curved up. “As long as you work together with me.”

Ouyang Ming turned his gaze to He Fei who had been surrounded by several bodyguards.

After He Fei ate the prohibited drug, his movements were obviously much better than before. Even though he had taken a few punches, it did not affect his attack power.

Rick’s bodyguards did not have a moment to even approach Zi Yi.

Both of them made eye contact and he saw the emotion of indifference in her eyes.

Zi Yi looked away at this point and threw out the remaining silver needles in her hands.

A few of the bodyguards’ movements stiffened and He Fei did not notice anything abnormal, as he still launched attacks towards them.

Looking at the bodyguards sent flying out by He Fei, Ouyang Ming felt as if something was stuck in his throat. He wanted to speak but was unable to do so.

Rick had also noticed Zi Yi’s action. However, he did not reveal any displeasure due to a few of his bodyguards getting beaten up. Instead, he slowly took out a gun and aimed it at He Fei.

Ouyang Ming suddenly widened his eyes and he finally managed to shout, “Ah He, be careful!”

He Fei’s body quickly evaded and dodged the bullet.

The next second, Rick fired another shot at Zi Yi.

At the sight of this, He Fei quickly rushed over to Zi Yi.

“Ah He!”

A circular ball quickly appeared in her hand.

The circular ball collided with the bullet and sent the bullet flying to the ground.

Before He Fei could breathe a sigh of relief, Rick’s laughter sounded once again.

After he finished laughing, he threw his gun to the side and snapped his fingers in the air.

A group of armed men quickly approached.

All of them were equipped with heavy weapons.

Rick looked at Zi Yi and said with a smile, “You are outnumbered and I’d like to see if you are still able to escape without any weapons by your side.”
