What the Eldest Madam was doing had refreshed Zi Yi’s understanding of human nature. In fact, she had no idea what she should say. “Will someone like that not even realize their mistake even when they’re on their deathbed?”

Lu Jingye held her hand and walked toward the sofa.

After they both sat down on the sofa, Zi Yi turned around and hugged his arm, leaned her head on his shoulders, and asked, “Ah Jing, are you going to work late again today?”

Lu Jingye looked at the small head rubbing on his shoulders. He tightly held her hand and said, “I’ll come back home tonight.”

Zi Yi was delighted to hear that. She raised her head and said, “Don’t exhaust yourself too much. We are already very rich and there’s no need for you to work so hard to earn money. If you’re tired, you can stop working. It’s the same even if I were to support you.”

Lu Jingye smiled and he could not help but lower his head and give her a light peck on her lips, before chuckling. “I’ll only be busy during this short period of time. After the babies come out, I’ll accompany you and them together.”

Zi Yi smiled in response. She then put her arms around his neck and spread her legs over his lap to straddle him. Her cheeks were touching his as she said, “In that case, I’ll also clear out my time for the month the babies are coming out. We’ll raise them together when the time comes.”

“Ok.”

Zi Yi rubbed her cheeks on his. She found it amusing and so, she continued rubbing. All of a sudden, she asked, “Ah Jing, when the babies come out, should I feed them personally or should I feed them with refined milk?”

Lu Jingye held his waist. His gaze lowered to a certain part of her body and his voice slightly deepened. “Can you feed them?”

Zi Yi thought for a moment and said with uncertainty, “I think so.”

In the interstellar era, there was no such concept of breastfeeding. All the babies were fed with the most nutritious refined milk. She had been reading some books and watching some videos about this subject and so, she became curious.

Lu Jingye knew what her thoughts were the moment he heard the tone of her voice. His palm moved to her back and he moved forward. “You can give it a try.”

“Mhmm…”

Zi Yi softly moaned and tilted her head. Both their lips touched each other.

After a short period of intimacy, Lu Jingye continued to work. Zi Yi then turned on the virtual screen, reduced it to the size of a tablet, and started to swipe around.

After swiping for some time, she suddenly asked, “Has everything ended on Yunxiao’s side?”

While typing on the keyboard, Lu Jingye answered, “He’ll be back in a few days’ time.”

“Country A lost quite a number of higher-ups this time. In the following period of time, they should be more down to earth.”

Even if they aren’t down to earth, she wasn’t worried about their side at all. What she was paying attention to was the male worm’s side.

Lu Jingye looked up from his screen and asked, “The higher-ups gave me a call yesterday. They mentioned some of the researchers from Country D are still in the capital. Do you want to take them in?”

Zi Yi snorted and she did not want to talk about this at all.

How could Lu Jingye not know of her temper? In the end, he did not continue talking about this topic. Instead, he changed the topic and said, “Yunxiao’s side managed to rescue a few individuals who were locked up by the male worm in Country A’s space station. However, many missing individuals are not there. They should have been taken to outer space by the male worm.”

“Mhmm.” Zi Yi nodded her head. “After Eldest Uncle and the rest come out, we’ll travel to the nearby planets to search. It just so happens that we can see what good things they managed to find in the nearby galaxies.”

Speaking of this, Zi Yi smiled happily and said, “The worm race has a sensitive sense of smell. Through the sense of smell, they are able to locate special materials that we can only find with the help of detectors. If they really manage to find the raw materials used for building spaceships meant for long-distance travels, we might be able to take advantage of them and steal them too.”

The reason why Zi Yi had not sent out any spaceships to chase after the male worm was because of this.

She had yet to find the materials used to build the detectors that could detect special energy resources. Therefore, it was a pretty good plan to make use of the male worm and his kin.

Soon, it was noontime.

After they finished lunch, Zi Yi originally planned to continue staying in Lu Jingye’s office to accompany him as he worked, so she did not expect to receive Little Loli’s video call all of a sudden.

Little Loli was crying and sobbing over the call. “Wuuu… sister… A’s body was repaired, but he doesn’t recognize me anymore. Was his data reformatted?”

Zi Yi was a little surprised. She thought for a moment and said, “I’ll come over and have a look.”

Little Loli and A had been staying in her villa near M.Uni ever since they returned. A’s new body was built with the new materials developed by the [Futuristic Energy Technology Company]. As there were several key parts that had complicated processes, they ended up waiting for some time.

After Zi Yi ended the call with Little Loli, she looked up at her man that was working hard.

Lu Jingye immediately sensed her gaze. He looked up from the screen and asked her what happened with his eyes.

“Ah Jing, I’m making a trip down to our house near M.Uni.”

Having said that, she stood up and walked to his side. After she reached his side, she lowered her head and gave him a peck on the cheek. “Don’t forget what you promised me. Come back home early tonight. I’ll be waiting~”

Lu Jingye raised his hand and touched her cheeks. “Ok. I’ll come back home for dinner tonight.”

Zi Yi was elated and so, she kissed him on the lips before she left.

When Zi Yi arrived at the villa, Little Loli pounced toward her right away. “Sister, A doesn’t recognize me anymore. Wuuu~”

Zi Yi pushed her away and asked, “A is awake?”

“En, he woke up just moments ago. I asked who he was but he’s not responding. If it were in the past, he would say I’m an idiot.”

“…” Zi Yi looked at Little Loli speechlessly before she headed to the basement.

Little Loli hastily followed her and explained to Zi Yi about A’s reactions after he regained consciousness. “I asked him a lot of questions but he’s not responding at all.”

Zi Yi chose to be selective in terms of trusting what Little Loli said and she did not answer her either. Instead she walked to the laboratory A was in. After opening the door, Zi Yi and Little Loli made their way inside.

A was currently lying on the operating table and there was a virtual screen floating next to him. The screen reflected the data of his physical functions.

Zi Yi walked to A and he opened his eyes to call out, “Master.”

Zi Yi nodded her head and asked him several questions in succession.

A answered all her questions in a serious manner.

In the end, Zi Yi looked at Little Loli from the corner of her eye and said to A, “All your functions have been repaired and are in their optimal state. You can get up.”

A sat up from the bed right away.

His body was exactly the same as that of an adult man. Currently, he was only wearing a pair of undergarments. Little Loli screamed and used her hand to block her eyes. “Ahhh… my eyes are going to be blinded! Ahhh! A’s figure is so~ good.”

Zi Yi’s mouth twitched and said to A, “You and Little Loli can continue managing the bar moving forward.”

With that, she headed in A’s direction and acted as though she wanted to hit him.

Little Loli took advantage of the situation and fell on A. She then staged a fake accident and said affectionately, “Ahh~ A, you’re hurting my weak hand… Wuuu.”
