Zhou Shijin raised his head to see Zi Yi but he lowered his head in disappointment again after only a brief glance.

Zi Yi walked up in front of him and said angrily, “All the racers are getting ready but your team members are searching for you high and low. Are you happy?”

“Why are you hiding here?”

Zhou Shijin said nothing and seemed low-spirited.

Zi Yi angrily raised her foot and kicked him in the calf.

Zhou Shijin glared at her with fire spewing from his eyes.

Zi Yi crossed her arms and sneered coolly, “If you dare to make trouble today, I’ll send you straight into space and make sure you’ll never see Zhou Shiyu again.”

Zhou Shijin looked like an angry cat with its fur standing up. “If I can’t see him, so be it. I don’t care.”

“Heh!”

Zi Yi laughed coldly before she said in a cool tone, “Since you don’t care about seeing him, I should tell him to go back now.”

Zhou Shijin trembled on hearing this. He looked at her intently and asked, “Is he back?”

“Nope.” Zi Yi answered unusually quickly, so Zhou Shijin did not believe her.

He shot up from the ground and asked, “Where is he?”

“Didn’t you want to get sent into outer space? Why ask about his whereabouts?”

Zhou Shijin glared at Zi Yi angrily. This woman was just like an evil monster. He refused to give in to her. “You can say whatever you want. I’m not desperate to see him.”

“Since you don’t care about seeing me, I can always go back.” An unexpected voice made Zhou Shijin’s eyes light up. He did his utmost to control himself and suppress his joy as he looked at Zhou Shiyu standing in the corner wearing his glasses and looking particularly refined.

“I thought you said I’m not your brother?”

Zhou Shiyu walked over. He stood beside Zhou Shijin and said to Zi Yi, “Boss, I know my little brother wasn’t easy to handle and I know you have things to do, so let me talk to him.”

Zi Yi nodded. She checked the time and said, “You have ten minutes to talk to him. After you are done, please send him over.”

“Ok.”

Zi Yi walked off.

They were in a remote corner. Other than staff members, no one else could access it.

After Zi Yi was gone, only the two of them remained.

Zhou Shiyu looked at his younger brother who was about the same height. He raised his hand and touched Zhou Shijin’s head.

Zhou Shijin instantly exploded. “What are you doing? Do I look like a kid to you?”

Zhou Shiyu adjusted his glasses and said, “In my heart, you’re not only a kid, but you’re also a troublemaker.”

Zhou Shijin promptly wanted to charge over and bite him.

Zhou Shiyu pretended not to notice his reaction. Instead, he continued speaking, “Boss Zi was right. You’re just a proud kid. You do whatever you want and also attract trouble.”

The moment he heard this, Zhou Shijin’s face promptly changed, and he looked sad. He said in a self-deprecating tone and sneered, “I know I’ve always been a burden to you…”

“When did I ever say that?”

Zhou Shiyu continued speaking in a disappointed tone, “In order to ensure you could grow up safely, I kept plotting and scheming. I can’t believe that’s what you think of me. You are such an ingrate. How could you think I would judge you for your sexual preferences?”

Zhou Shijin’s eyes turn red. He breathed deeply with his chest rising and falling hard as he roared. “Do you think I can control my sexual preferences? I’m simply not interested in women. I feel grossed out being with women and there’s nothing I can do about it.”

The moment he finished his sentence, he used his sleeve to wipe his eyes. He turned his head away angrily without looking at his brother.

Zhou Shiyu could feel a headache coming on. He looked at Zhou Shijin before he sighed and said, “It was my fault. I should’ve paid more attention to your mental well-being.”

Zhou Shijin felt annoyed on hearing this. “I’m just three years younger than you. I don’t need your attention.”

In a split second, someone flicked him on the forehead.

Zhou Shijin looked at him in resentment and said huffily, “If you want to talk, then go ahead. Do you have to touch me?”

Zhou Shiyu laughed coldly. “If talking worked, I wouldn’t have to resort to touching you.”

The moment he finished his sentence, Zhou Shiyu raised his hand again.

Zhou Shijin spoke as he quickly retreated, “Ever since we were kids, you always hit me since you were older. Let me tell you. If you dare touch me again, I won’t hold back anymore.”

Zhou Shiyu continued to laugh coolly. “What do you mean by holding back? I don’t recall you ever winning.”

Zhou Shijin looked indignant.

Zhou Shiyu turned and headed to the entrance.

Zhou Shijin felt worried inside and automatically called him, “Brother.”

Zhou Shiyu said, “Come on. You have to compete today. I do not want to see you lose. If you lose, I’ll never come to watch you race again. Also… after the race, let’s find someplace to have a proper chat.”
