That was the exact thing I could read in Darius’ eyes. He looked at me with so much regret but I knew it wasn’t for me. It was for his wife. Something must have happened between them for him to look so vulnerable but I don’t care about that. Their relationship, their marriage are nothing that concerns me.

“If you want me to stop talking about her, maybe you should start by bringing my child out here, so I can leave this place and you’ll never get to see my face again.”
