The flight back home was a long one.

Cole’s driver arrives at the airport on time to pick up the family.

The twins were asleep so they occupied the back seat with Hailey while Cole sat in the front passenger seat. Then the driver

They arrived at Hailey’s home at past 8 pm. The driver brought down the luggage from the car while Cole and Hailey took

the twins in.

Both parents changed the boys into their nightwear and tucked them in. Hailey kissed their foreheads and Cole did the same. They stood at a distance, with smiles on their faces.

Cole snuck his arms around Hailey’s waist, pulling her closer to himself.

She smiled, looking at him. “This has become your favorite thing to do with me.” Hailey tiptoed and placed a kiss on his lips.

“Don’t blame me, you are a drug that I have gotten addicted to.”

Hailey giggled, burying her head against his chest.

Cole smiled, then placed a deep kiss on her forehead.

“Who do you think looks like you the most?” She whispered, referring to her sleeping twins.

They both do. On the same level. But I think Enzo’s got my temper

Hailey chuckled. “I was about to say that. He can be quite bossy and commanding. Just like you.”

“I’m not bossy.”

“Oh really?” Hailey challenged, pulling away from his chest and folding her arms

“I think. I am

not bossy when it comes to you but maybe I am to others.”

“Seeing them both at first glance, I got so scared.”

Hailey chuckled. “You sure? I remember you being really confident.”

Cole shook his head. “I was a mess on the inside secing two little boys who looked like me. It took me days to process the thought. I was going crazy so I opened up to Jess.”

“I almost cannot believe you. You were with them till they fell asleep that night.”

Cole nodded. “Thanks to them. They welcomed me with open arms. They didn’t resent me for being absent throughout their lives. They were so nice, friendly, and polite that I had no idea when my anxiety escaped me.”

“You raised two amazing young men in my absence and I would forever be grateful to you.” Cole stared at Hailey with so much adoration in his eyes.

“I wouldn’t lie, it was hard telling them apart at first but by the second time I saw them, I could tell who was who.”

Hailey chuckled. “It’s normal. It took a while to tell them apart after birth. I would wear Enzo’s clothes for Ollie and Ollie’s

for Enzo.

“What is going on in your mind? I hope you are not feeling bad again.”

“I know you missed an important part of their lives in the past but you need not beat yourself up about ic”

“I tell you these memories as often as I remember them so you would know what it was like for us

Hailey intertwined her hands with Cole’s. “We will definitely make more beautiful memories.”

Hailey nodded.

“How many kids have you always wanted to have?”

Hailey blushed. She opened her mouth to say something, then shrugged. “I don’t know. I have never really thought about it. I mean, I never dreamt about having twins but look at me.”

“What about you? Any thoughts?”

“I want 4. So I think we’ve got two more to go.”

“4 babies” Hailey smiled.

“With whom?” She feigned innocence.

Hailey chuckled. “We shall see about that.”

With their hands still intertwined, they both made their way out of the twins bedroom, to the living room.

He sat on the couch and Hailey got comfortable on his lap. “Thank you for the mini–vacay.”

“I should be thanking you. I’m glad you consented to it. I will make sure I plan another one soon. It is going to be better than this. I promise.”

Hailey chuckled. “We both have companies to run, remember,”

“I don’t think that is an excuse. Instead, we can use it to our advantage and travel every month.”

Hailey smiled. “Who would have thought the almighty Cole is capable of ditching work?”

Cole blushed. “I would say everyone in the office would be surprised but I don’t think so. They must have thought I went for a business meeting

“That’s reasonable. Thank you for taking great care of us.”

Cole brought his hand to her face, tucking some stray strands of hair behind her ear.

“You all are my priority so you’ve got nothing to thank me for.

“What are you doing tomorrow afternoon?”

Cole smiled. “What do you have in mind?”

“You are thinking of something dirty. Aren’t you?”

Cole blushed in embarrassment. “I’ve got meetings in the morning but I can clear my schedule for the afternoon.

win “Ollie and Enzo will resume school tomofrow. I was thinking we could surprise them. I will inform their school that you be coming to pick them up in the alternoon. You can take them out before you bring them home, I will try to be home early

too so I can make dinner.”

Cole smiled. “Deal”

“I would be coming with my sleeping ches too.”

Hailey smiled. “My bed is big enough.

“How did I get so lucky to have you?

“I hate to let you go but isn’t your driver waiting?” Hailey announced.

We are going to continue where we stop tomorrow.”

“I can’t wait and who knows, I might model the lingeries you got me for you if you are good.”

Hailey chuckled seeing the desire in Cole’s eyes.

“You know how to tease me, don’t you?”

“I did nothing wrong.” She was almost getting up from his lap when he pulled her back and snuck his hand under her top. instantly massaging her boobs.

“I don’t know who you love the most. Myself or my boobs.”

“Your boobs make me lose my senses but I cannot do without you.”

“Not really. I speak from my heart. I lost you once and I cannot afford to lose you again.”

Cole raised her shirt up. He located her left nipple with his mouth and sucked on it, kneading her other nipple with his fingers.

Hailey pressed her lips together, trying so hard not to let out any moan. Her body was very sensitive to everything that had to do with him.

Cole eventually pulled away. He placed her shirt back and placed a deep kiss on her forehead. “I promised not to do too much today. I don’t want to add to your soreness. We will continue tomorrow.”

Hailey nodded, trying not to feel disappointed.

With their hands intertwined, Hailey and Cole exited the house. She walked him to the car and they came to a halt before the door of the front passenger seat.

Cole smiled, wrapping his arms around her. “There would come a day when we would live in a big and beautiful mansion. You are going to be the last person I see before I go to bed and the first person I see when I wake up.”

Hailey laughed, her heart filled with so much pride and joy. “We’ve got a really bright future ahead of us. Don’t we?”

“We do! A very good and beautiful future. And I’m not going to let anyone ruin it for us.”
