Hailey was sure she was halfway through her ride to a place she thought she was never going to set her foot in again when her phone buzzed in her bag. She wanted to ignore it since she was driving but with everything going on, her anxiety was starting to get the most of her.

After what felt like forever, Hailey pulled up in the Summers‘ her

parked her car directly in front of the house and ansion. She p

turned off the engine.

Staring at her reflection through the front mirror, Hailey began to take off her wristwatch, bracelets, and knuckle rings. She kept them aside and went ahead to put her hair up in a low ponytail. She took off her necklace and her earrings also, keeping them safe in the car.

Taking one last glance at the mirror, Hailey helped herself down from the car. Today was one of the few days Hailey decided to wear corporate pants to work and she was grateful for her decision to do so.

Lucy, the assistant chef who recognized Hailey ran towards her to extend her greetings.

“Hi, Madam. It’s good to see your face again.”

Hailey replied with a forced smile. She was really not in the mood for any friendly conversations but she didn’t want to be rude to Lucy.

“It’s good to see you too, Lucy. Is Vanessa home by chance?”

“Yes, ma. She’s in with Madam Connie.”

“Thank you,” Hailey said then made her towards the entrance. The last time she was here was when her Dad disowned her and chased her out. She had no idea why but she was glad Eric did. It was better than living in a home with two witches.

Once she was in, Hailey traced her steps to the living room. Everything looked the same as she remembered.

She sighted Vanessa and Connie on the couch and instantly approached them.

The smile on Vanessa’s face slowly faded the moment she saw Hailey storm in.

“What are you doing here?” Connie mumbled, her eyes on Hailey as Hailey approached them.

Vanessa stared in shock. She had hardly taken in all of Hailey’s appearance when Hailey attacked her.

Hailey held onto Vanessa’s dress by the chest and dragged her up to her feet, the bowl of ice cream falling off Vanessa’s lap to the couch as she was dragged up.

“How dare you mess with my man.” Hailey’s hand landed really hard against Vanessa’s cheek.

Connie stared in shock, still seated with her mouth wide open. She was about to say something when Hailey hit Vanessa again on that same cheek. This time around she hit her even harder, the sound of the slap resonating in the room.

Vanessa had tears in her eyes at this point.

“How fucking dare you!!!!” Hailey said at the top of her voice, hitting Vanessa twice more on her cheek.

Vanessa was about to attack back but Hailey pushed her. Vanessa tripped and fell to the floor. She cried out in pain.

Connie saw that Hailey was going towards Vanessa, probably to beat her up even more so she ran towards her, holding Hailey still.

With all of her ught, Hailey freed herself from Connie. She hit Connie on the cheek and pushed her to the floor also.

Hailey’s eyes met with the bowl of ice cream on the chair, she picked it up and emptied all its content on Vanessa’s hair and

face.

Still holding the now empty bowl of ice cream, Hailey began to beat Vanessa with the bowl. Hitting it on her head, face, and all over her body as Vanessa was seated on the floor.

Hailey felt the bowl wasn’t doing the job properly as Vanessa wasn’t wailing yet as she expected. She then took off her heels and fired them at Vanessa. The first heel hit Vanessa directly on her forehead while she dodged the second one a bit so it hit her shoulder. At this point, Vanessa was sobbing loudly.
