“Alpha, what are we going to do about this now? We lost the man who was replacing you until now” Yes… shit! I cursed under my breath staring outside of the window. Think… think Lucias think! I said to myself but nothing came to my mind. I am still angry. I am so f**king angry with what happened.

How am I going to find another man for this now? If the man I trusted was able to betray me, how can I bring myself to trust another man for this. With a deep sigh. I turned to Derek who was looking at me with complicated eyes. I know that he’s also confused with all the things that happen and all the things I do. Most importantly, I can’t abandon Emilina after she carried my son and raised him. well. She had so many reasons to hate me and abort the baby but still, she had loved him and raised him without letting him have any pain. I looked out of the room as I heard Emilina’s voice. She was standing at the door with a cup of coffee for me. Damn… drinking the coffee she makes is a different kind of happiness. Her eyes remained on me for a second and then fell on Derek. She stared at him for some time before coming into the room and putting my mug on the desk.

“Derek, do you want me to get you a coffee? I didn’t realize that you were here.” She smiled. Look how beautiful she is when she smiles. I feel relieved to see her smiles like this. I know I haven’t fully gotten rid of all the problems we have but seeing her like this made me feel so good. I lived my life like a dead man for years. after she left me. I suffered every single second because of what I did.

“Thank you Luna but I have to go now. I will come to drink a coffee later. I’m in urgent task.” Derek said as he bowed his head to both of us and left the room. Emilina stared at Derek until he disappeared from the room. After a while, she sighed and turned to me.
