Return of the Crowned Heiress Chapter 401
Return of the Crowned Heiress
Chapter 401
Myra was certain. âYou hate me, your father, and Kayla, so youâre doing this to take revenge on us! You killed Mina, framed the Fullers, and manipulated Minaâs relatives to report to the media! You want to see our family destroyed as revenge, right?â
The reasoning was impressive but also laughable, yet Felicia couldnât bring herself to laugh.
She sighed. âMrs. Fuller, this is just your assumption. Iâve never done such a thing. Youâre biased against me, so youâre putting all the blame on me. To be honest, I envy Kayla. Why do you trust her blindly but never spare even a sliver of trust for me?â
It was the same in her past life, and it was still the same in this one. They always pinned the blame on her as long as Kayla said the word, even if it was baseless. Myra would always side with Kayla.
Felicia met Myraâs eyes. âIs your daughter so worthless and undeserving of your trust?â
Myraâs jaw fell, but no words came out.
Felicia was calm and didnât fly into a rage. Her tone was composed yet brimming with disappointment.
Why did Myra always trust Kayla but never spare even a sliver of trust for Felicia? Was she that worthless and undeserving of Myraâs trust?
The questions echoed in Myraâs ears. She couldnât help but tremble.
Kayla panicked. âWho else could it be but you? Can you swear you donât hate Dad and Mom? That you donât hate me?â
How blunt.
Felicia muttered indifferently, âI do hate you. I hate you all very much.â
âLook, Mom! I was right!â Kayla shook Myraâs hand.
Myra closed her eyes. âFelicia, if this is your way of taking revenge, then youâve succeeded. Youâve caused your father to get his head smashed in and the Fullersâ finances to be in the red. Now, weâre on the brink of bankruptcy. Our entire family is about to live on the streets because of you!â
Myraâs voice was hoarse as she accused Felicia.
Felicia didnât want to be the scapegoat and denied it, âMrs. Fuller, nothing big happens in a day. Whether it was you and your husband or Kayla, none of you are faultless.
Actions had consequences. How did the Fullers fall from grace? Wasnât it because Kayla committed murder? And wasnât it also because Myra and Dexter insisted on covering for her?

Disaster was inevitable.
âYou made the choice, so what does the backlash have to do with me? Why am I to blame? And one more thingâ¦â Feliciaâs gaze sharpened. âIf youâve stolen something, itâs best to return it immediately. Then you might still have a chance to survive.â
Felicia said everything she wanted to say and slammed the door shut.
Kayla kicked the door and shouted, âFelicia! What do you mean by that? Are you threatening us? Come out right now!!
Myra put on her mask. âEnough. Letâs go home.â
âBut Momâ¦â Kayla whined.
âLetâs go!â Myra ordered.
Kayla had no choice but to comply.
