Chapter 1941 - Holding a grudge

Sima You Yue and the others walked towards Dark Cloud Mountain and met many people along the way. Those people walked in a huge group. It was rare for people to come as a small group.

All of them put on some sort of disguise. Actually, Sima You Yue simply stuck some beard onto Mo Yu, making it hard for others to recognise him.

They took a flying beast that they rented and flew for a few days before reaching Dark Cloud Mountain. Upon reaching the Dark Cloud Mountain’s entrance, the flying beast refused to enter.

Thus, Sima You Yue and the others let the flying beast return and decided to walk in on their own.

Sima You Yue stood at the foot of the mountain, looked at the long stretch of mountains and asked Mo Yu, “Now that we’re here, do you feel the presence of any precious treasure?”

“I don’t feel anything.” Mo Yu said.

“I’m really curious, what’s with people from the Mo Clan? Why are you all so sensitive towards the presence of treasures?” Sima You Yue looked at Mo Yu with curiosity.

“Actually, it is nothing much, Our ancestors have the bloodline of the underworld beasts, so we are more sensitive towards the presence of treasures.” Mo Yu answered.

“Isn’t that similar to Little Tu?” said Sima You Yue, “He is also sensitive towards the presence of treasures. Why didn’t I think of it?”

“But Little Tu only started feeling the presence after strengthening his bloodline. Those from the Mo Clan people possess the ghost’s clan bloodline.”

“Our bloodline is strong.”

“It is indeed strong.” Sima You Yue admitted.

“However, compared to you, it is still a little lacking.” Mo Yu said.

Sima You Yue didn’t think that they would suddenly talk about her and was stunned. Based on the image that she saw back in Chaos world, the people in the Ninth Underworld who came from the Little black Lotus Realm were born from the river. Their blood was naturally stronger than average.

After it was passed down for generations, it was already dulled down, but she still couldn’t deny their status.

She had never seen people that came from the Ninth Underworld Clan. She was curious as to why her Grandmother would marry her Grandfather back then. She was not in her palace, neither did she die, so where was she now? Why was there still no news from her even after something so major happened to Mother?

It was said that this Grandmother did not stay in the palace for long. She left after giving birth to mother. It felt like she had intentionally gone to have a child with the Ghost King.

If she had a chance to meet this Grandmother, she would definitely have to ask her more.

“Senior Brother, is what you said true? The underworld beasts’ unusual actions doesn’t mean that there is a treasure here?”

“Are we still going in?”

“Of course. Is it possible that there is no reason behind the unusual situation? Even if there is no treasure, there must be a reason.”

Sima You Yue and the others were thinking about what they had heard about the treasure, and they didn’t think they would be caught so fast. Although, they couldn’t hide their breath either.

They walked over from behind a big tree and saw a group of shocked people. “We were just passing by, we didn’t have the intention to eavesdrop.”

“You claim to be passing by? At all times where you could have passed by, you passed by when we were talking about the treasure, what a coincidence! Moreover, you guys were hiding behind a big tree sneakily, who would believe you!” One of the girls sneered at them, as if mocking their ridiculous excuse.

“We were already resting here for a while until you came to talk about this. Besides, we did not intentionally hide our breaths, and what you were talking about is no secret, what’s there to eavesdrop?” Sima You Yue rebutted.

“Impudent! Who are you to insult her?!” Another man spoke up.

“Did I say anything wrong?” Sima You Yue looked at them innocently, “If she didn’t have someone backing her, would she be so arrogant with her abilities?”

Talking about background, she was the one who should be arrogant, but look at how low-profile she was!

“I will kill you now, see who…..”

“Junior Sister, retreat!” The man held the girl back, and pulled her behind his back, and bowed to Sima You Yue, and said apologetically, “I am Xue Ying, my Junior Sister has been spoiled by our Master’s wife and doesn’t know her boundaries. She has offended the few of you. After we return, I will be sure to educate her properly.”

“Senior Brother?!” She did not think that her own Senior Brother would say something like this, and she was filled with shock, agony and dissatisfaction.

However, looking at his current expression, she knew that he was already angry and she did not dare to say more. She could only glare at Sima You Yue.

Sima You Yue did not intend to do anything to them because of a few words they said, and merely nodded her head and left with the others.

After they left Xue Ying recovered from his bow with a gloomy look on his face that made him look scary.

“Senior Brother….” Everyone was afraid to see him this way.

“Senior Brother, why did you stop me!” The girl said unhappily as she pouted her lips.

“Junior Sister, those people were not ordinary people. If you continued attacking, I fear that you might have died even before going near her.” Xue Ying said.

“They only had a few people, and we have so many more!” Shui Shan did not feel like she had almost died.

“Although they only have five people, I could not gauge any of their level of ability at all. This means that their abilities are higher than mine. Moreover when you moved earlier, the two people standing behind the girl had eyes filled with the intention to kill.” Xue Ying said.

“But how can you let them go after they insulted us like this?” Someone said begrudgingly.

“How could I!” Xue Ying’s eyes were filled with murderous intent, “Our Divine Shadow Palace is not something that people can just trample over. We are just letting them live for a few more days. After a few days when our Masters return, we will wash off the humiliation from today!”

“Senior Brother is right, if we go against them now, we would only be like a pebble in their way. What we must do now is to search for the reason behind the abnormal activities of the beasts, so that we can tell the Masters when they come back.” Someone added on.

Sima You Yue did not think of their intentions. Even if she did, she could not be bothered. They were merely like ants, yet they thought so highly of themselves!

What she was more bothered about was why the beasts were showing abnormal behaviours. If it wasn’t because of the presence of a treasure, then what could be the reason?
