It was needless to say who those people were. She was just talking about them over here and they came knocking on her door.

Although Fu Xi sounded anxious, Sima You Yue wasn’t in a hurry. She said goodbye to Xi Er Mo and took her time going back.

Back at the inn, those people had indeed been chased away. Some parts of the inn were damaged, Wu Lingyu was talking to the innkeeper about compensation, while Fu Xi was eating walnuts beside Leng Feng and the others.

“How many people came?” She asked Fu Xi.

“A lot, fortunately Brother Lingyu came out at the critical moment, otherwise it would have been quite troublesome.” Fu Xi said.

“Really?” Sima You Yue poked his head, “Surely you didn’t use this as a reason for me to come back?”

Fu Xi smiled wryly, then he pointed at Wu Lingyu and said: “He asked me to do it.”

Wu Lingyu had just finished talking to the innkeeper and gave Fu Xi a cold look when he realised that he had betrayed him. He then came over to Sima You Yue’s side and looked at her up and down.

“Don’t worry, he didn’t do anything.” Sima You Yue didn’t stop him, she even turned around and showed him that there was nothing wrong with her.

Of course, she wasn’t unhappy that he had called her back.

“All said and done?” Wu Lingyu asked.

“Mmm, all done.” Sima You Yue said, “It’s just as my conjecture was.”

“It’s really because of your Mother?” Fu Xi’s eyes widened, “Your Mother knows so many people.”

What Fu Xi had wanted to say was that so many people liked her Mother, but he didn’t think it was an appropriate thing to say, so he changed his statement.

Xu Wu stood at the door and looked at the two of them. Their attitudes seemed sincere, and with Wu Lingyu’s strength, if they had wanted to come quietly, they would indeed not have been discovered so easily.

He waved his hand and gestured for the guards to stand down.

“Who are you and what are you doing here?”

Xu Wu had never met Yu Ke Luo, hence, he didn’t know that the two of them bore a resemblance to each other, nor could he confirm her identity. Even if she had the breath of the royal family, it didn’t necessarily mean that she was someone the Ghost King wanted to protect.

“I won’t let anyone who goes against us go. Firstly, I came here today to tell you this to show that I’m not provoking you. The second, is to tell you that I won’t let this person off. When the time comes, I hope you won’t mind.” Sima You Yue said.

“You’re free to do so.” Xu Wu didn’t care.

Just as she had said, if his subordinates had colluded with others and tried to drag him into it, he wouldn’t care to have such subordinates anyway. Even if she wasn’t going to take action, he would have done so himself.

“Alright!” Di Jiu Jiu liked this feeling the most, that he had his Master’s protection even though he was doing bad things.

He brought some men with him to kill those people. Knowing that there would be a lot of fun tonight, Fu Xi urged Sima You Yue to watch the fun with him. Sima You Yue couldn’t resist and agreed to take him there. She left Leng Feng and the others at the inn and laid a spirit barrier outside the inn.
