“It’s the President of the Alchemist Guild!” Someone called out in surprise when he recognised the one who had just spoke, “What is he doing here?”

“Two days ago, two young fourth ranked Alchemists appeared so I think the Alchemist Guild took an interest in them.” Someone guessed.

Sima You Yue turned around to look and saw a skinny by capable old man stand out from the group of people, looking pointedly at the Golden Snake Fruit in her hand.

“President Ma.” The Sima Clansmen all bowed respectfully when they saw Ma Li appear.

Ma Li did not pay them any heed but came in front of Sima You Yue, saying, “Can I take a look at the Golden Snake Fruit for awhile?”

Sima You Yue shook her head, saying, “Old grandpa, you can’t right now. I need to use this to make a trade with the Sima Clan.”

“Trade with what?” Ma Li asked.

“Three years ago, I made an agreement with Sima Lin that he would ensure the safety of my Grandfather and the others for three years, then I would find a Golden Snake Fruit for them. Now that I’ve come with the Golden Snake Fruit as per our agreement, I’m waiting for them to let me meet my Grandfather and Brothers.” Sima You Yue said, “Old Grandpa, if you want to see it, wait until I can ensure the safety of my grandfather and the others first then we’ll talk again, okay?”

“Your grandfather is Sima Lie?” Ma Li asked.

“Then why don’t you enter?”

Sima You Yue was a bit hesitant.

“Please.” Sima You Lin made an inviting gesture as Sima You Yue lifted her feet and walked in.

She knew that they would not settle this outside the main gates. After all, this could touch upon something that they didn’t know about. As such, she merely wanted to garner support outside.

Halcyon followed by Sima You Yue’s side. When he walked past the Huo brother and sister, he gave them a passing glance, but it still gave them the chills.

“Feels… really strong…” Huo Zi Jiao finally stammered when they entered.

Huo Zi Yan shivered as that gaze appeared to penetrate them.

Sima You Yue followed Sima You Lin into the main hall while Sima Lin, Sima Qing and a few others waited inside.

After taking a glance, she noted that they had quite a bit of influence, seeing that they were able to sit here. They also did not appear young.

“Dear granduncles, Sima You Yue is here.” Sima You Lin respectfully bowed at the people in the house.

“You are Sima You Yue? You were the one hooting outside asking my big brother to go out?” An elder glanced at Sima You Yue, using his Spirit Saint ranked pressure to try and pressure her.

Sima You Yue remained unmoved where she was and said lightly, “Your pressure is useless against me, you might as well save it.”

After that, she looked at Sima Lin, saying, “I’ve brought the item. I want to see my Grandfather and the others to ascertain that they are still living.”

Sima Lin looked at the Sima You Yue of today, and his heart held quite a bit of surprise.

He never thought that the tiny little Spirit Master would have grown to this stage. Even Sima You Lin, who had been praised as the number one genius, did not have such vast improvements.

“Bring them here.” Sima Lin ordered.

“Yes, Clan Leader.”

While they were waiting, Sima Lin looked at Ma Lin, who would not stop wandering around Sima You Yue and said, “Ma Lin, weren’t you in the Alchemist Guild watching over your furnace? What did you run here for?”

“I came to watch a good show!” Ma Li spoke straightforwardly, before hastily denying it, saying, “I heard that a few perverse geniuses appeared and I came to see what kind of people they were. I never thought that I would happen to chance upon this. I promised to protect him and he promised to let me take a look at the Golden Snake Fruit.”

“Since this is the case, you can sit down and wait.” Sima Lin said.

“No need.” Ma Li directly waved his hands. He just wanted to stand beside Sima You Yue as if he would be able to get a whiff of the aroma of the Golden Snake Fruit but doing so.

“These few must be the very popular geniuses we heard about recently?” An elder of the Sima Clan said.

Wei Zi Qi and the others had yet to speak when Ma Li jumped up, saying, “What do you want to do? I set my sights on them first, don’t you snatch them from me!”

“I’m not going to quarrel with you today.” Ma Li had his sights set on the Golden Snake Fruit today. He didn’t even bother with his old rival.

Sima Lie and the others lived in a house far away from the main house, and just as Sima You Yue was beginning to lose her patience, she heard the sound of activity.

“Enter quickly!”

The voice of the guard carried over and she anxiously turned around. However, when she saw the way Sima Lie and the others looked, she was immediately ablaze with rage and her entire person released a terrifying aura.
