Bei Gong Tang and the others saw her disappear from inside the cave, and chose a spot in the pond and headed in.

After going down a bit more, Sima You Yue had no choice but to stop because she realised that the heat was going to completely burn away her defensive barrier.

“We can’t go any deeper.” Halcyon said, “Even I can barely take the heat.”

Sima You Yue took a look downstairs and saw that they were quickly at the end. She said, “Go back first, I’ll use Crimson Flame’s fire to protect myself and go down for a look.”

“Okay.” Halcyon was not about to show off, and returned to the Spirit Pagoda.

Sima You Yue kept Little Roar away as well. She used Crimson Flame’s fire to surround herself, and she could clearly see the distortion in the air around her due to the intense heat.
