“I’ve burnt so many to death, but I don’t know how many are left.” Su Xiao Xiao furrowed his eyebrows when he smelt the stench.

“Regardless of how many are left, I doubt my journey ahead will be easy.” Sima You Yue said. “These aren’t the only worms in the cemetery. I just hope there won’t be that many inside.”

“I doubt it. Those worms need a certain condition to survive.” It was rare for Jiang Jun Zhe to be awake. Those peach blossom eyes that were for once, bright and clear instead of laced with sleep, were rather attractive.

“There are many cemeteries in the violet water swamp. Everyone was attracted by the fengshui in here. However, this here, right in the centre, is the best.” Sima You Yue said, “However, because it used to be the best, it is now the worst.”

“The spirit qi’s presence can not only exterminate the creatures living in there, it can absorb the spirit energy.” Sima You Yue explained, “if there’s something with spirit energy in there, the spirit energy should have been absorbed away. But we’re not necessarily left with nothing. We might get lucky and obtain something.”

Kong Xiang Yi saw that Sima You Yue seemed to have known about it long ago and said tentatively, “You already knew?”

“Of course! That’s why I knew that there’s no danger here.” Sima You Yue said, “I did guess so in the beginning, but I didn’t think it would be that clean.”

“Since there’s nothing good in there, what are we still doing here?”

“Picking up the scraps.”

Inside the stone house was an oil lamp with a jade bottle placed in the exact same position.

“Seems that we have entered an illusion array.” Sima You Yue said, “Although it looks like we’re going forwards, we have just been meandering inside this house.”

“When did we enter the illusion array? How did I not notice it at all?” Su Xiao Xiao wasn’t familiar with arrays.

“This array is more powerful than the current illusion arrays.” Sima You Yue said, “I have to study it a bit ”

“It really is.’ Sima You Yue rubbed the space between her eyebrows before she looked over once more at the items in the stone house. The stone house was bare. There was nothing apart from these few items.

The little stone could be eliminated, but the oil lamp, sword, tray, wine jug, wine glasses… Which one was the real core?

She took all the things in front of her and took a look. She touched each one, momentarily unsure.

“I’m guessing that this person must be a person who knows how to enjoy life.” Jiang Jun Zhe woke up for a moment and said.
