Chapter 807 - Her suspicions

Everyone was flustered when they saw her fall. Ximen Feng almost hopped down himself, but it was a good thing that Kong Xiang Yi stopped him.

“You can’t fly. It would be the same if you went down! You should first take a look and see if those flying beasts are able to.”

They heard the sound of wings flapping, and it seemed like they were unable to fly in the sky but the bird clan still could.

“I’m fine. I called Halcyon out before I reached the bottom.” Sima You Yue said.

“It’s good that you’re fine. You scared us just now.” Han Miao Shuang said, “It’s a good thing that flying beasts can still fly. Otherwise, you would die falling into this kind of bottomless pit.”

“It was fine when I walked on it, so how did it break when Junior Brother stepped on it?” Su Xiao Xiao asked, puzzled.

Sima You Yue watched as Kong Xiang Yi touched the door here and there and examined it closely. Her focused state made her look rather attractive.

Han Miao Shuang came up beside her, saying, “Will she be able to handle it?”

“Should be.” Sima You Yue said, “I see dear Feng looking at her with such belief, so it should be fine. we’ll just wait and see. If she can’t, I think we should still be able to go in.”

After speaking, she glanced over at Jiang Jun Zhe. He was already leaning on Xiao Xiao, fast asleep.

After more than half of the day had passed, and everyone was about to fall asleep, Kong Xiang Yi’s voice suddenly sounded.

“Done! I know how to open this door!”

Sima You Yue had been sitting down resting, and opened her eyes when she heard what she said. At the same time, the others opened their eyes as well.

“You found a way?” Han Miao Shuang got up from the found, saying a little excitedly.

Kong Xiang Yi looked excited too. Sima You Yue and the others watched as the crack got bigger and bigger, and they prepared to attack at any time. However, there was nothing.

The door had been completely opened and they saw a single giant stone house behind it, surrounded by a few small houses. Each stone house was filled with items, most of which were pearls, jewels and the like. There were also a few spirit crystals. However, they had already lost their luster and were now completely just useless stones.

Everyone looked at those items with pity. If it were not for the Qi spirit that had absorbed all the spirit energy from here, if we distributed these treasures, any single one of the houses here would give us a fortune!

“A pity! A real pity!” Han Miao Shuang looked at these items and kept lamenting.

Han Miao Shuang waved her hands dispiritedly, saying, “All the things here are useless. What’s the point of going to the inner cemetery? Who knows, there might even be something waiting for us inside!”

Jiang Jun Zhe glanced at Sima You Yue asking, “Do you feel the same?”

“This cemetery can be considered as a dead one. There’s no living thing here, and no treasures. Even if we continue walking, we won’t be able to find anything.” Sima You Yue shrugged.

She looked at Jiang Jun Zhe and saw his normally apathetic eyes flash with an unfamiliar zeal. She didn’t know why, but she felt that something was off. However, she couldn’t put her finger on it or say what it was.
