Chapter 137
The Heiress’ Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call
Chapter 137 Bringing Wynter Back to Kingbourne
Jerry y was still in disbelief that Wynter was their boss. His hands trembled as the realization sank in,
and he nervously adjusted his glasses.
Ewan would surely regret it if he found out about Wynterâs identity.
Finally, Jerry grasped the reason why Gregory had assigned some projects to a small
company like the Yates Group. It was all because of Wynter.
Jerry picked up his glasses and stammered, âBoss, youâ¦â
âSeems like youâve recognized me, Jerry,â Wynter said with a smile.
He quickly added, âI didnât recognize you at the Yates villa. If I had, I would have-â
âI didnât want anyone to know,â she said as she toyed with the teacup in her hand. âYou did the right
thing.â
Larry was puzzled. âThe Yates villa? What villa?â
Jerry lowered his gaze. âMr. Hilton, Iâll explain later.â
Larry didnât care about these minor details. All he cared about was one thing. âBoss, letâs head back to
Kingbourne now! Haha, Iâm pumped! Once youâre back in Kingbourne, weâll kick some serious ass!â
Wynter chuckled and said, âI canât go back now. As you can see, my business is just getting started.â
Larry was stunned. With such a big corporation in Kingbourne, he wondered why she wasnât concerned
about it and instead focused on this small shop.
âThen, Iâll stick around and help you with business,â Larry declared loyally. âBoss, youâre aiming to cash
in on the internet as a live streamer, right? I knew it!â
Wynter replied calmly, âYouâre overthinking it. I just want to be a simple traditional medicine
practitioner.â
âIn that case, Iâll invest in pharmaceuticals!â Larry couldnât be chased away. âItâs been so long since Iâve
done business with you, Boss. Iâve checked out Southdale, and the marketâs mature. If youâre serious
about opening a shop, Iâm all in!â
Wynter hadnât responded yet when a cough came from the side. âWynter, who are you talking to?â
Chapter 137 Bringing Wynter Back to Kingbourne
âGrandma, are you awake?â Wynter immediately went over to help the woman up. She then explained
with a smile, âA major investor learned of our online presence. He believes the Empathy Clinic holds
promise. Heâs interested in investing in us.â
Margaret glanced around. âCan something this wonderful really be true?â
Larry, being a smooth talker, immediately said, âThe Empathy Clinic is gaining massive popularity
online. Nowâs the best time for us to collaborate with you. It might cost us a fortune later on.â
Margaret sized him up, noticing his flashy gold chain, then glanced at Jerry. âHe seems reliable,â she
remarked.
Jerry adjusted his glasses and politely corrected her. âMadam, actually, thatâs our boss over
there.â
Margaret chuckled softly. âI understand your concern, but how should we discuss this investment? As
youâve seen, my shop is modest in size with limited space.â
She continued, âYour boss does seem quite formidable. While Iâm not averse to taking risks, Wynter
has always been courteous and considerate. If any issues arise during our
collaboration, how can I best address them with your boss?â
Larry couldnât believe his ears when Margaret described Wynter as courteous and considerate. The
combination of those words just didnât make sense to him.
He wished he could be more like Gregory, who was always polite. âMadam, please believe me. I would
never mistreat this young lady,â he stammered.
However, Margaret shook her head. âYouâre too easygoing. Who in their right mind would be so
agreeable when it comes to investments?â
Indeed, Larryâs eagerness seemed almost too good to be true.
Pointing to a slogan on the wall, Margaret remarked, âEven the Publicâ¦.egrity Department says,
âThereâs no such thing as a free lunch.â
Larry was left speechless in an instant.
