Chapter 53
The Heiress’ Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call
Chapter 53 Was Wynterâs Invitation Card Fake
Guests were entering one after another in the outer hall of the manor. Wynter was among them, but her
outfit didnât match the venue.
She wore a white shirt, jeans, and a wineâred baseball cap, seemingly like a college student.
The bodyguards guarding the door reached out to stop her and asked politely, âMiss, who are you?â
Before she could speak, a sneer came from the side. âSheâs just a traditional medicine charlatan! Hey,
beggar! Youâre so bold to come here!â
It was Luke. He helped Hilda over, followed by the Yates.
Yvette avoided Wynter, not wanting others to know they were related.
On the other hand, Wanda stared at her fiercely, thinking that she was pestering them.
Wynter raised her eyebrows and spoke playfully, âHello, my acquaintances!â
âWeâre not!â Luke snorted. âDo you know where this place is? Can a beggar like you come here?â
He had long wanted to settle scores with her, but no one had heard of her after asking
around. Now that he met her here, he would teach her a lesson!
âWhereâs the security? Drive her out!â Luke looked arrogant.
Hilda pretended to stop him and shook her head in disapproval. âLuke, how can your
embarrass a junior?â
He complained with hatred, âMadam Gibson, you donât know what she has done! She
spoke flowery words, even used witchcraft to make me kneel for so long!â
Upon hearing that, Wynter smiled slightly. âIt seems your mentor is still unaware that I hit
you with the vital point strike.â
Vital point strike?
The onlookers gasped, looking at each other in surprise. Were there really vital point
strikes in this world?
âStop bragging!â Luke scoffed.
Chapter 53 Was Wron
âDo you
think this is medieval times? How can vital point strikes exist? If they exist,
Madam Gibson would know how to use them! Stop being ridiculous!â
Wynter chewed on the gum, responding calmly, âSo, Madam Gibson canât even use vital
point strikes to treat patients? It seems that her medical skills arenât good enough. Sheâll only mislead
her apprentices.â
He was pissed off. âWhat did you say? How dare you say that!â
Hilda held back her anger. âShut up, Luke!â
She must stop this idiot from talking, or everyone would know that she didnât know how to
treat patients with vital point strikes!
âBut sheâ¦â Luke felt unconvinced.
She took a deep breath, looking at Wynter coldly and saying arrogantly, âSince youâre Margaretâs
apprentice, I wonât argue with you.
âI would like to give you some advice. As a doctor, you must be kind. Itâs not good for your to be so
arrogant.â
When she mentioned Margaretâs name, everyone present had different reactions.
âDid she mean Margaret Yates, who prescribed random medicines and killed a patient?â
âWhen did she have an apprentice?â
âI donât know either. Why did the Yarwoods give the invitation card to her?â
The people around them stopped and didnât move forward. Instead, they focused on Wynter with
disgust.
It was the result Hilda wanted. She specifically asked George to send a fake invitation card to Margaret
just to see this scene. But unfortunately, Margaret didnât come.
It didnât matter, though. She would still get the same result if she could embarrass Wynter!
Moreover, this damn girl still wasnât in the most embarrassment. Her real embarrassment would
happen when she took out the fake invitation card!
Wanda caught Hildaâs hint and stepped forward. âMaybe she doesnât even have an
invitation card! Hers is fake!â
That made sense. Wynterâs origin was in Havenlight County, where her poor relatives lived. Logical
speaking, there was no way she would get invited by the Yarwoods
