Chapter 87
The Heiress’ Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call
Chapter 87 The Affection Between Them
When Ethan heard about the invitation card, he glanced over.
Dalton replied calmly, âYes.â
Wynter smiled. âDid you plan to do good deeds without telling me?â
He coughed lightly. His voice still sounded a little hoarse. âIâm not in good health, so it would be a waste
for me to have the invitation card. Since I canât attend, itâd be
better for me to give it to you.â
She raised her eyebrows. âDonât you ever want to try your luck? The Yarwoods have hired so many
renowned doctors. There will always be someone who can cure you.â
Dalton lowered his eyes. His eyelashes were so long that they cast a shadow. âI thought about it
before. But after meeting you, I feel that no one is better than you.â
As soon as he said that, everyone was stunned.
The barrel fell from Ethanâs hand, and even Wynter, who was holding the tea, went
slightly stagnant.
Wolf, who was practicing, abruptly stood up straight and stared at that handsome
patient.
Dalton also realized that his sentence was too ambiguous. He explained with a slight frown, âI meant
your medical skills.â
âI know.â
She smiled leisurely. âSit down first. Iâll go in to get something.â
He did as she said and picked up the tea on the stone table.
Ethan found this clinic to be magical. As soon as Dalton entered this courtyard, he didnât care about
anything he should be particular about. He didnât even care whether the tea was good and seemed to
have cured his clean freak attitude!
When Wynter entered the room, Margaret was still talking on the phone. She
wondered how many times Margaret emphasized the good points about her.

âDonât worry, Wynter has a good temper, so sheâll listen to you. She wonât take up too much of your
time. What did you say? Youâre afraid of her? Abel, you canât lie to me. Just tell me the truth. You donât
want to teach her, right?â
On the other end of the phone, Abel was about to say, âI didnât lie. Your granddaughter isâ¦â
Before he could speak, he heard a cold voice from the other end of the phone.
âGrandma, if Abel doesnât want to, just forget it. We canât force him.â
He immediately said, âMrs. Yates Senior, donât worry. Itâs not that difficult to tutor her.
Iâll do it!â
Margaret finally hung up the phone with satisfaction, then she lifted her gaze toward Wynter. âHow
many times have I told you? You have to call him Mr. Abel.â
âOh?â Wynter smiled lightly. âIf I call him that, he might kneel in a fright.â
Margaret was old and didnât hear clearly. âWhat did you say?â
âItâs nothing. Iâm taking something to my friend, who is in poor health.â
As she spoke, she put the wild root herb and truffle that she had picked in the mountains yesterday into
the box, along with a medicine sachet.
She moved very quickly, and Dalton had yet to finish his tea when she came out.
âHere you go.â Wynter put the box on his lap. âUse the medicine according to the proportions inside
and add it into your soup every day. I also wrote down the other taboos on the paper.â
He looked at her.
They both had outstanding looks and an indescribable sense of beauty.
Wynter pressed on the medicine sachet. âWhen you get home, put it next to your bed. Itâll calm your
mind and help you sleep.â
It had a very light herbal smell, wasnât pungent, and made him feel comfortable smelling it.
Daltonâs fingertips slid over. âDid you make this yourself?â

âYes, this is a thankâyou gift.â Wynter grinned, revealing her collarbone when her
white Tâshirt was tilted forward. Her face was so beautiful that it made his heart beat
faster.
He rotated the teacup unconsciously and suppressed this inexplicable feeling.
