Waylon, who had navigated the treacherous modeling world on his own, had come far, his skills now polished to a gleaming edge.

A spark of excitement flickered across his face as he dropped back onto the sofa. Madisyn handed him a glass of water.

“Not worried anymore, are you?”

“Not worried at all.” Waylon met his sister’s steady gaze and, for a brief moment, recalled his earlier unease. Embarrassed, he took a slow sip of water.
