Chapter 1130
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 1130:
Howardâs long lashes fluttered in frustration as he stepped away from the living room, dialing Millyâs number.
âBabe, Iâm not happyâ¦â
Milly had just finished an interview when she saw Howardâs name flash on her phone. She answered immediately.
âHoward?â Milly heard the discontent in Howardâs voice.
âWhatâs wrong?â she asked, concern lacing her words.
Howard, holding the phone, was unsure how to put his feelings into words. He knew he was being irrationalâMilly was busy with work, and here he was, sulking. He couldnât expect her to manage his emotions too.
He answered, âJust hearing your voice makes everything better. Are you done with work? Should I pick you up?â
Milly, sensing Howardâs mood hadnât fully lifted, replied, âIâm done with work. Iâm heading to the parking lot now. Iâll be home soon.â As she drove down the street, Milly spotted a beautiful flower shop ahead.
She remembered what a director had said during filmingâflowers could brighten someoneâs day when they were feeling low. She wasnât sure if it would work on Howard, but she decided to give it a shot.
Milly parked the car, threw on a mask and hat, and walked into the shop.
The shop owner greeted her warmly.
âWelcome! What kind of flowers are you looking for?â
It was Millyâs first time in a flower shop. Glancing around, unsure of what to choose, she looked up at the owner and asked, âI want to buy flowers for someone whoâs feeling down. Do you have any suggestions?â

Her genuine curiosity shone in her eyes, and the shop owner was caught off guard. For a moment, she just stared, speechless.
There was something so pure in Millyâs eyes.
Milly quickly realized she probably shouldâve worn sunglasses and repeated her request.
The owner snapped out of her daze and suggested, âIf youâre buying flowers for someone whoâs upset, you could go for lilies, sunflowers, or even white lychee rosesâ¦â
âIâll take the white lychee roses, please,â Milly said softly.
âOf course, Miss. Iâll wrap them up for you,â the shop owner replied with a smile.
After Milly paid and left, the shop owner stood by the door, watching her get into her car. Something about her felt familiar, but she couldnât quite place it. Shrugging, she returned inside to tidy up the counter. Feeling a bit tired, she decided to take a break and scrolled through her phone, stopping on an interview with her favorite actress. Her eyes widened. The actress in the video was wearing the exact same outfit as the customer who had just left.
âWait⦠could it beâ¦â She shot up from her seat, her voice breaking into an excited shout.
âOh my God! That was Milly! Milly came to my shop to buy flowers!â
The realization hit her like a bolt of lightningâshe had just served Milly! Excited yet regretful, she hurriedly opened Millyâs fan community forum and made a post.
