Chapter 181
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 181:
Evie glanced at Kian, feeling as though her heart was being ripped apart. She never imagined he would choose Teresa so quickly between them. She and Kian had been together for six months! How long had he even known Teresa? Just as Madisyn had warned her, Kian was only interested in wealth and power.
But today, Evie was determined to expose Kian for who he truly was. She stood up, unlocked her phone, and scrolled through her chat history with Kian, all the way back to six months ago.
âTeresa, Kian and I have been dating for six months!â she declared. Teresaâs face turned pale as she stared at the chat history, realization dawning on her. Had she unknowingly been the other woman all along? She turned to Kian, her eyes blazing with anger. âKian, how could you deceive me like this?â
Evie watched Kian with cold detachment. She had invited Teresa here to unmask him and prevent her from being misled any further. She despised Kian, but Teresa was innocent if she had truly been unaware.
Kian hadnât anticipated Evieâs bold move. Confronted with the furious stares of both women, he panicked. âTeresa, trust me. I had no choice! Evie kept coming on to me and even threatened me. I only stayed with her to keep the peace!â he blurted out.
Evie nearly laughed. What a pathetic excuse! Did he really think anyone would believe that? But to her surprise, someone did.
Teresa immediately turned on Evie. âSo thatâs the truth! Evie, how could you stoop so low, using threats to keep Kian with you!â
Evieâs face hardened. âTeresa, you actually believe Kian? Heâs lying to you!â
Kian took Teresaâs hand, trying to soothe her. âTeresa, I swear Iâm telling the truth. My feelings for you are real! From the moment I saw you, I fell in love with you.â He then turned to Evie. âEvie, I only stayed with you because I was scared of your emotional instability. But now, I have someone else to care for. Iâm sorry, but weâre done.â

Evie was speechless. He was completely delusional! Absolutely repulsive! She couldnât believe she had ever loved such a jerk.
Smack! Evie slapped Kian hard across the face. âKian, you bastard! Do you think your pathetic lies will make me forget everything? Just wait. Iâll make sure everyone knows who you really are!â
âStop!â Teresa stepped in front of Kian, looking at Evie with contempt. âEvie, youâre nothing special. Kian was doing you a favor by being with you, and now you repay him with harm? How vile! Iâm giving you one chance: leave now and stay away from Kian, or Iâll make sure you regret it.â
Kian, now fuming after the slap, turned to Evie. âEvie, Teresa is from the Johns family. You better leave now before you cause more trouble!â
âSheâs from the Johns family?â Evie couldnât help but laugh. It was absurd. Kian believed Teresa was from the wealthy Johns family, but the real Miss Johns was Madisyn!
âKian, how do you regard the time we spent together?â Evie glared at him.
âI know itâs hard for you to let go, but you need to move on,â Kian said.
Evieâs expression darkened. âYouâre delusional. I hate you now! Let me beat you up, or Iâll never forgive you!â she snapped, grabbing Kian by the hair and slapping him again. She pushed him to the ground, mercilessly slapping both his cheeks.
Evieâs blows were fierce and unrelenting. Teresa stood in shock. Was Evie even human? How could she be so brutal? But Evie had trained in martial arts since childhoodâhandling someone like Kian was a breeze for her.
âEvie, stop!â Teresa tried to intervene, but Evie slapped her twice, causing her to back away in fear.
Once satisfied with the beating, Evie stood up from Kian, who was nearly unconscious. âHmph, Kian, you better hope I never see you again!â she sneered. Then, turning to Teresa, she added, âAnd you, a fool and a liar. Youâll regret this.â With that, Evie turned and walked out.
Teresaâs eyes narrowed. Why had Evie called her a liar?
Kian groaned in pain, and Teresa quickly rushed to his side. âKian, are you okay?â
âIt hurts!â Kian gasped, touching his swollen, bruised face. âI wonât be disfigured, will I?â
He looked in the mirror and nearly fainted at the sight of his face. âEvie! You evil woman!â he shouted.
Teresa, equally distressed, promised, âDonât worry, sweetheart. Iâll make sure Evie pays for what sheâs done.â
