Chapter 202
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 202:
âYeah, it looks like he got cancer.â
Dane furrowed his brow and remarked, âItâs odd that someone believes youâre their daughter. People online are now badmouthing you. Iâll clear things up.â
âIâll go meet them first,â Madisyn responded. âI assume that couple has tried to explain, but Jenna and the others might not buy it. Itâs really sad. Even though they were struggling financially, they still managed to get Jenna into dance classes. Sadly, Jenna is ungrateful.â
Dane nodded in agreement. âThis couple truly deserves help. You should donate a million dollars on behalf of Johns Group and make sure the funds are transferred to them from the company account.â
âAlright.â
Madisyn genuinely felt compassion for the couple. With nothing else on her schedule today, she headed straight to the hospital.
The couple was in a basic, standard ward. The ward was crowded with sick patients, and the air was thick with an unpleasant odor.
âYou two elders, make sure you donât leave your belongings lying around here.â
A man in his thirties shot an angry glare at Aidyn and Sherlyn.
Sherlyn was about to pick up the basin, but the man kicked it over. âCanât you be more perceptive?â he snapped.
The people nearby were visibly upset, but none of them dared to speak up. Although everyone was disgusted by the manâs behavior, most of the people there were elderly and frail, making them reluctant to confront him. The basin shattered into several pieces.

Sherlynâs expression grew grim. A basin didnât cost muchâjust a few dollarsâbut to her and her husband, even a few dollars was a significant amount. She started to tremble uncontrollably.
Aidynâs heart ached for Sherlyn, and he wanted to help her up, but the pain in his own body held him back. All he could manage to say was, âItâs alright. I donât need a basin. Just sit down and rest.â
âHuh, stop acting like some pitiful, loving couple,â the man sneered at them, clearly displeased. âPeople might start thinking Iâm picking on you!â
âArenât you taking this too far?â came a cold, firm voice from behind.
The man turned around to see a beautiful woman, but there was a chilling coldness in her presence. She was impeccably dressed and carried herself with an air of nobility, which seemed completely out of place in this setting.
âWho do you think you are? Stay out of this!â he retorted. âShe only placed the basin in your space by accident. You couldâve just asked her to move it. Did you really need to break it?â Madisyn questioned coldly.
âShut up! This is my territory. If somethingâs in my space, I can do whatever I want with it,â the man replied arrogantly, completely unafraid of Madisyn, especially since she was just a woman. âWhat are you going to do about it?â
He had the appearance of someone who didnât care about rules, like a real thug.
Noticing a cup on the table, Madisyn grabbed it and hurled it straight into the trash can, shattering it instantly.
The man was caught off guard by Madisynâs bold move to break his stuff. Anger flashed across his face as he prepared to grab her.
However, before he could lay a hand on her, Madisyn swiftly caught his wrist. In the next moment, he let out a pained scream. âAh! Go easy! My arm feels like itâs going to snap!â
The sight of Madisyn overpowering the man left everyone in shock. Considering her slender frame, no one expected her to handle a man in this way.
Aidyn and Sherlyn were equally stunned, but soon, admiration started to shine in their eyes. Madisyn was absolutely incredible.
âAre you going to keep treating people this way in the future?â Madisyn asked, her voice as cold as ice.
âN-no, I wonât,â the man stammered, now genuinely frightened. He never imagined a woman could be this strong. He was the type who preyed on the weak but crumbled in the face of strength.
Madisyn released her hold on his wrist, causing the man to nearly collapse onto the floor.
Madisyn gave a firm command. âApologize right now.â
The man had no choice but to bow his head. âIâm sorry. I was just in a bad mood. I shouldnât have acted so rudely.â
Sherlyn was taken aback by the sudden turn of events.
âAlright. Just donât let it happen again,â she replied. âNow, get out!â Madisyn ordered firmly.
The man didnât hesitate and quickly fled the room.
Seeing that Aidyn wasnât in great shape, Madisyn called a nurse and arranged for him to be moved to a VIP single ward.
The nurse sighed softly. âHeâll surely receive better care in a single ward, but they couldnât afford it before. At least now he can recover in a peaceful environment.â
Ten minutes later, Aidyn was transferred to the new room.
Before Sherlyn and Aidyn even had time to fully comprehend what was happening, they were following the nurse into an opulent room.
As they took in the luxurious surroundings, Sherlyn shook her head over and over. âWe canât afford this. Letâs return to our old room,â she said.
Madisyn felt sorry for the couple, and her resentment toward Jenna deepened. If these were her parents, she would do everything in her power to care for them.
âItâs alright. Iâm here to help you both,â Madisyn reassured the couple in a soft, comforting voice.
Seeing Madisynâs elegant dress and hearing her soft, kind voice, Sherlyn felt increasingly unworthy of her kind gestures. âYoung lady, youâre very kind, but this room is far too costly. We really canât afford to stay here,â she said with a heavy heart.
âThatâs right. Iâll be fine anywhere,â Aidyn agreed, nodding in support.
Both of them were adamant about leaving the room. Madisyn cast a quick glance at the nurse, giving her a silent cue, and the nurse wisely took her leave.
After leaving, the nurse bumped into a colleague and couldnât resist sharing what had just transpired. She sighed. âIt looks like the patient is finally going to get the surgery he needs.â
âAre you saying a beautiful young woman got them moved into a single room?â her colleague asked with interest.
âYes, thatâs exactly what happened.â
Her colleague responded with a displeased snort, her expression darkening.
The nurse was puzzled and asked, âWhy are you reacting this way? Isnât this a good thing?â
âYouâve been tricked; that woman isnât as nice as you think,â the colleague said with a look of disgust. Seeing the confusion on the nurseâs face, she pulled out her phone and showed her a news article. âI knew you hadnât seen whatâs going around online. Take a look. Now you see it, donât you? That woman is actually their daughter. Itâs her duty to take care of them!â
