Chapter 218
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 218:
Evie finally found a way to handle her big brother. For the next two days, Madisyn stayed home, spending quality time with her mother. On the third day, it was time for her to go.
Her family accompanied her to the airport, where Elaine held onto Madisynâs hand, reluctant to let go. âMadisyn, take care of yourself out there. Give it your all, but if things get too tough, donât hesitate to come home. Your father has enough money to support you comfortably for a lifetime.â
Glenn nodded in agreement. âThatâs right, Madisyn. Donât overextend yourself.â
Madisyn smiled, touched by their concern. âI promise, Mom and Dad, Iâll take care of myself and wonât overwork.â
Dane, standing nearby, added with a serious tone, âAnsport is a big city with its complexities. Keep your wits about you.â
âI will, Dane,â Madisyn replied confidently.
âThe Johns Group has a solid branch there. If you run into any issues, donât hesitate to reach out. Iâll be there soon myself.â

Madisyn gave a grateful nod, just as her phone began to ring.
She glanced at the screenâit was Waylon calling. She answered it.
On the screen appeared Waylonâs handsome face, though his usual charm was shadowed by guilt. âMadisyn, Iâm so sorry I canât be there to see you off. I feel like such a lousy brother.â
Dane, nearby, couldnât resist a quip. âWell, at least youâre aware of it.â
Waylon, unfazed, quickly added, âMadisyn, to make it up to you, Iâll give you every penny I earn this time.â Daneâs expression tightened, a hint of irritation flashing across his face. Waylon always had a way of trying to steal the spotlight.
Madisyn couldnât help but smile. Waylon was just too lovable, and she completely understood where he was coming from. âWaylon, itâs fine. You chasing your dreams is what really makes you shine.â
âMadisynâ¦â Waylon was caught off guard by her words. Since heâd entered the entertainment industry, no one had ever said anything like that to him. It was so good to have a little sister.
âMadisyn, I love you,â Waylon said, his voice thick with emotion, genuinely moved by Madisynâs kindness. He was determined to earn plenty of money for his sister to enjoy.
Madisyn waved with a teasing smile. âWaylon, donât get all teary-eyed, or youâll ruin your handsome look. Iâve got to board now. Bye.â
âAlright, bye,â Waylon responded, his voice laced with affection.
After ending the call, Madisyn waved goodbye to her family and headed into the airport.
Elaine watched her until she disappeared from sight, then her face lit up with excitement. She turned to Glenn with a knowing smile. âDo you think Madisyn will be surprised when she finds out about the big surprise?â
âSheâll be thrilled!â Glenn said, matching her enthusiasm. Dane, watching his parents, couldnât help but shake his head with an amused smile.
Once on the plane, Madisyn settled into her first-class seat, ready to close her eyes and relax. But just as she was about to drift off, she heard a voice. âHey.â
Madisyn opened her eyes to find a petite woman standing before her, exuding an air of arrogance. âCould you please switch seats with me? I need to sit here to take care of Tatiana.â
Tatiana?
The name rang a bell. Madisyn glanced over and realized that the person resting beside her, wearing an eye mask, was indeed Tatiana.
When Madisyn didnât immediately respond, the woman took her silence as compliance and began to nudge her.
âMove to the economy class. Iâll cover the difference.â
The push was abrupt and rude, leaving Madisyn taken aback by the womanâs lack of manners.
Madisyn was never one to tolerate rudeness. She swatted the womanâs hand away and said firmly, âNot happening.â
The womanâs eyes widened in disbelief, and Tatiana, overhearing the exchange, spoke up from behind her eye mask. âIâll pay double for the seat.â
The woman crossed her arms, fully expecting Madisyn to relent. Double the price was a generous offer.
But Madisyn simply scoffed, her tone cool. âHow about I pay double for you to find another seat so I can rest in peace? Deal?â
The woman was taken aback by Madisynâs audacity, and even Tatiana was caught off guard. She removed her eye mask to see who dared to be so bold, only to find herself face-to-face with Madisyn, the same person who had embarrassed her before.
Tatiana hadnât anticipated running into her again. âItâs you?â Tatiana said, irritation creeping into her voice. âWhat a small world. Fine, Iâll pay you ten times the price. How about that?â
Ten times the offerâsurely no one could refuse that.
But Madisyn didnât blink. âA thousand times?â
Tatianaâs face darkened, and her assistant, unable to hold back, snapped, âDonât be so ungrateful. Offering ten times is more than generous.â
Madisyn sneered. âIf you canât afford it, donât pretend you can. Iâm not interested in your spare change.â Without missing a beat, she said to the flight attendant, âPlease escort this non-first-class passenger out.â
The flight attendant quickly complied, escorting the assistant away.
Tatiana watched, her expression souring. She then looked back at Madisyn. âWho exactly are you?â
Madisyn ignored the question, closing her eyes to continue resting.
Tatiana stared at her for a moment longer before reluctantly looking away and closing her own eyes.
When Madisyn woke up, the plane had landed in Ansport. The afternoon was warm as Madisyn pulled her luggage behind her, stepping out of the airport and looking for a taxi.
âOh wow, who is that? Heâs so handsome.â
âSeriously, he looks like a celebrity!â
Excited murmurs buzzed around Madisyn, but she paid them no mind. To her, no one was more handsome than her boyfriend.
âIs that his girlfriend?â
âThey really make a stunning couple.â
As the whispers continued, Madisyn suddenly felt a hand gently ruffle her hair. She looked up, only to be met with those deep, captivating eyes she knew so well.
