The manager and Tatiana needed to discuss their next moves. It was only then that Maxine was able to change clothes. Following behind her, her assistant said happily, “Maxine, we are so lucky to have a boss like Miss Johns. I really didn’t expect her to get Sierra’s design for us.”

Jared cut a small piece of steak, forked it, and put it into his mouth elegantly. Then he asked, “Boss, do you know how much influence you have now?”

Madisyn shook her head helplessly. “I didn’t mean for this to happen.”

“Anyway, Aria Fashion is asking for trouble this time,” Jared said, enjoying his steak. He even offered it to Madisyn. “Boss, you should try this too. This steak is quite tender.”

Madisyn glanced at the plate of steak on the table and was about to refuse. But suddenly, someone leaned against her and said, “Eat this.”

The man handed her a plate almost filled with her favorite food. She was surprised, but her eyes lit up.

Why was Andrew here?

Jared watched the interaction between Madisyn and Andrew, his eyelids twitching. There was a strong affection in their eyes. He immediately reached out and rubbed his eyes, as if to shake off the sight.

“By the way, this is Mr. Cooper,” Madisyn introduced Jared.

Andrew looked at Jared. “Mr. Cooper, I’ve heard about you, but it’s our first official meeting.”

“Yes, I’ve also heard about you for many years, Mr. Klein,” Jared said, smiling politely. He didn’t expect Andrew to be his boss’s boyfriend.

“Mr. Cooper, I haven’t thanked you for what you did last time. But don’t worry. I won’t let your investment go to waste,” Andrew added.

Jared waved his hand. “It’s okay, Mr. Klein. Of course, I chose you because I believe in your abilities. I know you will succeed.”

Andrew smiled. “Thank you very much, Mr. Cooper.”

“You’re welcome, Mr. Klein. You don’t need to be too polite. If you need any help in the future, just call me,” Jared said, still smiling.

Andrew squinted, looking at Jared. He didn’t expect Jared to be so easygoing. According to the rumors he heard, Jared was very arrogant and never respected anyone. It seemed those rumors were not true.

Then Andrew couldn’t help looking at Madisyn. Could it be that Jared was deliberately being modest when he was with Madisyn? Andrew fell into deep thought.

Jared left on his own while Madisyn took Andrew’s car. “You seem to have a good relationship with Jared,” Andrew casually said while driving.

“Well, pretty good. Actually, we’ve known each other for a long time,” Madisyn said after hesitating for a moment.

“Oh, I see. No wonder you are so close,” Andrew said in a plain tone, as if he had no emotion.

However, Madisyn keenly felt he was a little jealous. So she held his hand and said reassuringly, “We are just friends.”

“Okay.” Andrew nodded and also held her hand.

But when Madisyn looked at him, she saw he still looked indifferent. She pursed her lips, not knowing what to say. When they arrived at Madisyn’s house, she got out of the car and looked at Andrew. “I’ll go inside now.” She turned around and was about to leave. But suddenly, her wrist was grabbed, and her whole body was pulled back, falling into his arms.

The next second, slender and powerful fingers lifted her chin. Before she could react, she felt something warm on her lips.

It was just a light kiss. Andrew let go of Madisyn and said, “Go to bed early.”

“Okay, you too. Good night.” Madisyn paused, hesitating for a moment. Then she added, “Jared and I are just friends.”

When Andrew saw her hesitation, a smile appeared on his handsome face. “I know, silly girl. Don’t think too much. I believe you.”

Madisyn finally felt relieved. She entered the house.

She went directly to her room and took a shower. When she came out of the bathroom, she received a message from the manager of the fashion show.

“Miss Johns, I have already investigated this matter. It seems Tatiana’s assistant misunderstood Maxine due to some past events. I have already scolded her, and she expressed her willingness to publicly apologize to Maxine. Of course, there were also some mistakes in my supervision. I’m really sorry, Miss Johns. I am hoping for your forgiveness.”

Madisyn logged in to Twitter and saw Tatiana’s assistant’s post.
