Chapter 332
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 332:
The assistant quickly grasped the situation. It turned out that it was Madisyn who tied Andrewâs tie. No wonder it was crooked. Of course, the assistant kept this thought to himself. As a competent assistant, he needed to understand his bossâs needs precisely.
âIt looks so beautiful. The future Mrs. Klein really knows how to tie a tie,â he remarked.
A slight smile appeared on Andrewâs lips, though his tone remained flat. âDouble salary for this month.â
The assistant was taken aback. What had he done to deserve this? Why was there suddenly a pay raise? Wait, was it because he referred to Madisyn as âMrs. Kleinâ?
The assistant quickly decided to hold Madisyn in high regard; he would need to impress her in the future. However, he recalled that Andrew had mocked Daneâs childish behaviors before, yet now Andrew seemed just as childish.
Andrewâs first appointment of the day was to go over cooperation details with Dane. Daneâs previous somber expression had been replaced by a cheerful demeanor recently. The once grumpy man was now genuinely in a good mood, no longer masking his feelings.
As Andrew arrived, Dane immediately noticed the tie. Raising an eyebrow, he asked, âWhatâs this? Did you wake up late today?â
âWhy do you think that?â Andrew asked.
Dane lifted his chin and replied, âYour tie.â
Andrew ran his slender fingers over the tie and said, âAh, I see. Madisyn tied this for me. What do you think?â
His tone was casual, but it was clear he was showing off. Dane felt a pang of jealousy. His sister had tied Andrewâs tie, but she hadnât done the same for him yet. Even though Dane had accepted Andrew as his future brother-in-law, he still felt a bit envious seeing their close interaction. It stung even more knowing that his sister, who had just reunited with their family, would soon be taken away.
Daneâs voice became icy. âReally? Thatâsâ¦â
âYour tie looks good today. Did Susan tie it for you?â
âShe was at the hospital; I tied it myself.â
âI see.â
The assistant who came in with coffee couldnât help but feel awkward hearing their conversation. Who would have guessed that these top executives would be discussing ties in the reception room? If people knew, theyâd be utterly shocked.
Meanwhile, Madisyn was unaware that Andrew was showing off the tie she had tied. She immediately reviewed the PR materials upon arriving at the company.
The PR director said, âMiss Johns, publishing these will definitely damage Tatianaâs reputation. But with her large fan base, many of whom are rather loyal, it might not affect her too much.â
âWhen did I say these were all?â Madisyn asked.
As the director looked puzzled, Madisyn snapped her fingers. A few girls emerged. They varied in height and build, but they all looked quite worn out. Despite their tired appearances, it was clear they had once been quite beautiful.
The director was taken aback, but even more so when she recognized one of the girls. She was a star who had been pushed out of the spotlight a few years ago due to scandals. Her troubles werenât supposed to be over yet.
âThank you so much,â Madisyn said, inviting the girls to sit on the sofa while she personally poured water for them.
They all looked uneasy. One of them asked, âMiss Johns, can you really ensure that Tatiana wonât retaliate against us?â
âOnce youâve spoken the truth, Iâll have bodyguards keep an eye on you. Tatiana wonât risk making a move right now. If she tries anything, everyone will know about it in no time,â Madisyn assured them calmly. âTatiana isnât someone who has the right to act recklessly. She has the reputations of both the Fernandez and Klein families to consider, so she wonât ruin herself just to get back at you.â
They felt relieved upon hearing this. âWho would like to go first?â Madisyn asked.
One of the girls spoke up, âIâll go first. Tatiana completely destroyed my life. I never slept with that director; it was Tatiana who wanted my role and set me up. The director was in on it with her. After everything blew up, he tried to blackmail me into sleeping with him, promising heâd clear things up if I did. I knew he wouldnât keep his word, so I refused. But I never imaginedââ
She broke down in tears. âTatiana framed me and drugged me. I woke up and they were already at the door. My fans lost all trust in me. I even thought about ending my life, but I couldnât leave my grandmother behind. If I died, sheâd have nothing left. So, I decided to keep going, just for her. But no matter how hard I try, I canât earn enough to pay off the penalty for breach of contract.â
She buried her face in her hands and sobbed.
The other girlsâ eyes grew red with emotion as they shared their miseries, all caused by Tatiana. Each story was heart-wrenching. These girls could have had promising futures, but now their lives were as bleak as if they were dead, all because of Tatiana.
The PR director, accustomed to many things, couldnât help but feel deep loathing for Tatiana. How could someone be so cruel?
