Chapter 336
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 336:
The police were already familiar with Tatianaâs wrongdoings and showed no sympathy. One of them firmly said, âMiss Fernandez, it turns out we were actually looking for you. Please come with us.â
Tatiana was shocked and found herself being escorted back to the police station. She had committed several severe crimes, such as framing, slander, and defamation. The situation left Tatiana dizzy, and she pleaded, âIâll pay whatever it costs; just let me go!â
Meanwhile, Madisyn returned to her company and called Andrew to discuss Tatianaâs latest antics. âCan you believe it? Does Tatiana really think Iâd fall for something so ludicrous?â Madisyn scoffed.
Andrew paused to think. âShe might not be lying to you.â
Madisyn was taken aback. âWhat do you mean by that?â
âSweetheart, itâs not what you think. I genuinely believe Tatiana thinks someone is carrying my child.â
âWhy would she think that?â Madisyn asked, frowning.
âIâm not entirely sure yet, but I believe it will become clear soon,â Andrew responded.
Madisyn looked skeptical.
Andrewâs âsoonâ came quicker than expected. The next morning, Andrew woke up in his villa and received a call from Daman. âCome home now!â Daman was livid.
Andrew remained composed. âOkay, Grandpa.â
He then called Madisyn, saying, âThat woman must have talked to my grandfather. Heâs summoned me back.â
âDo you want me to come?â
âThe woman whoâs supposedly pregnant with your child?â Madisyn quirked an eyebrow. âIâll pass. You handle it.â
Andrew then drove back to Klein Manor alone. In the living room of Klein Manor, Daman sat in the center of the sofa, his presence imposing and commanding despite his age. Beside Daman sat Sarai and Courtney.
Courtney held a report in one hand while her other hand rested on her stomach. She gazed at Andrew with eyes brimming with tears. Daman was also present.
âYou bastard!â
As Andrew stepped in, Daman, enraged, hurled a cup at him.
Andrew sidestepped the cup and approached to pour water for Daman. âGrandpa, letâs stay calm. We can discuss this withoutââ
Yet, Damanâs anger only intensified. âAndrew, you were the one I always held in high regard, and now look at what youâve done!â
Andrew turned to Courtney, who, with tearful eyes, explained, âAndrew, I couldnât get in touch with you, so I had to come to your grandpa.â
âWhy are you trying to contact me?â Andrew inquired coldly.
Courtney was no longer as nervous as before when confronted with Andrewâs indifferent attitude. Tatiana was right; no man could resist a woman dressed provocatively, Andrew included.
âAndrew, I am carrying your child,â Courtney said, placing the pregnancy report on the table.
Andrew briefly glanced at it. It confirmed she was over a week pregnant. âSo?â Andrew responded, unfazed.
Courtney was taken aback but still played the part of the distressed. âAndrew, I would have never tried to disturb your life if I hadnât gotten pregnant. This child is yours, and I need to know your thoughts.â
âThe child isnât mine. Do whatever you need to,â Andrew said, his face expressionless.
Was Andrew really trying to evade his responsibilities? âAndrew, how can you say such a thing?â Courtney frowned, appearing deeply wounded. âI know youâre reluctant to acknowledge it, but this child is indeed ours.â
