Chapter 377

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 377:

“Madisyn…”

Madisyn smirked coldly and said, “Since she tried to stop you from passing the evaluation, I’ll make sure she is the one who can’t. She can have her own consequences.”

Jada’s heart raced. “Madisyn, I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

“Why not? She deserves it. Just wait, Jada!” Madisyn said firmly.

Jada sighed, feeling defeated, and said, “Okay.”

Jada returned home.

That evening, she unwrapped a package in her bedroom. Inside was a small sample of perfume. She smiled faintly. It looked like Madisyn had pulled it together.

Indeed, no one seemed immune to her influence, not even Madisyn! Everything in Arasport should be hers! Jada looked up and laughed out loud.

Then, something crossed her mind, and she called Andrew.

She chose to make a video call.

“What’s up?” Andrew answered, his voice as chilly as always.

“I just noticed Madisyn seems a bit off lately. Haven’t you spent time with her?” Jada playfully pouted and added, “I’ll forgive you if you let Madisyn slip away.”

“Is she in a bad mood?”

“Yes, we had coffee this afternoon, and Madisyn seemed unhappy. Andrew, you can’t just bury yourself in your work and ignore her. If you keep this up, she might just find a younger, more charming man who’s kinder and more considerate than you!” Jada said gently.

“What?” Andrew’s voice grew irritated.

Suddenly, a voice cut in. “Did Madisyn really say that?”

Jada was taken aback. “Norton, you’re with Andrew?”

“Yes, I am. Honestly, this kind of woman isn’t right for you. If she wants to find someone else, just let her. Don’t hold on to her,” Norton said, sounding emotional.

Jada quickly clarified, “Norton, don’t stir things up. I said that, not Madisyn. I just want Andrew to spend more time with her!”

“Well, I still think she’s not a good woman!”

“Why are you acting like Wesley?” Jada snapped, “Madisyn is my friend. Don’t talk about her like that!”

After a bit more conversation, they ended the call.

Norton looked at Andrew and said, “Haven’t you realized how great Jada is? Even though you’ve been with someone else, she’s never shown jealousy. She’s even been kind to your girlfriend. I’ve met many people here in Arasport over the years, and Jada is genuinely the kindest and most innocent. Girls like her are rare. Missing out on her might be your biggest regret!”

Norton truly believed Jada was a nice girl. Andrew looked at him coldly. “You’re not the best judge of character. Don’t try to let your opinions sway me.”

Norton was taken aback and said, “Andrew, you’re biased against Jada! Don’t forget, during that camping trip, Jada risked her life to save you when you were in danger!”

Andrew hadn’t forgotten. If he had, he wouldn’t have stayed in touch with Jada all these years.

But he hadn’t really explored that incident before, and now he saw how manipulative Jada could be. To become friends with Madisyn, she even resorted to hiring hooligans to scare her. Could it be that Jada had orchestrated that event?

Andrew quickly dismissed the idea. Jada was only seven years old! How could a seven-year-old orchestrate something like that? Still, after some contemplation, he decided to have someone look into it.

With his careful nature, he needed to confirm his suspicions.

The next day at the Riggs Group, it was time for the evaluation.

Everyone gathered in the conference room, with Esteban sitting in the front. Unlike a typical CEO who might avoid getting involved in such details, Esteban never missed an assessment. His involvement was a big part of the Riggs Group’s success.

Esteban announced, “Let’s begin.”

Each participant presented their perfume to Esteban and the director of the research and development department.

The room was filled with a sense of nervous anticipation. A mistake here could mean losing their job. The staff who managed to stay at the Riggs Group were all highly skilled.

Eyes occasionally drifted towards Susan. They were all curious to see if she would make it through, given the rigorous nature of the assessments at the Riggs Group. Rumors had circulated that Susan had attended a fairly average university and hadn’t worked in the perfume industry after graduating. Many thought she didn’t deserve a spot at the Riggs Group. There was speculation about whether Esteban would show any bias.

As the session continued, it was Jada’s turn.

Jada handed over her perfume sample. After Esteban and the director sampled it, they appeared pleasantly surprised. The director complimented her generously, “Jada, this fragrance is quite unique and smells wonderful!”

Jada smiled and said, “Thank you! I aimed to create a fresh and refined scent for women, one that captures both innocence and sophistication.”
