Jada didn’t reach out to Andrew for a few days.

Then, one day, she sent a message saying, “Andrew, I think I’m drunk.” She also sent a voice message. When Madisyn listened to it, Jada’s sweet voice came through, saying, “Andrew, it’s really cold here at night. I wish you were here.” But Andrew didn’t respond.

Madisyn quirked an eyebrow and said, “Jada is out there drinking too much by herself. Doesn’t that concern you?”

“I notified her family,” Andrew said, unperturbed.

Madisyn was surprised. He was clearly keeping his distance from Jada.

Madisyn read Jada’s latest text: “Andrew, I’ve started working at my father’s company. Can we discuss a potential partnership?”

Madisyn looked at Andrew and said, “Jada is looking to discuss a partnership with you.”

Andrew answered, “I don’t have any suitable projects for collaboration with her.”

“Then send her your response.” Madisyn handed him the phone, but Andrew declined and said, “I won’t respond.”

Then, with a hint of frustration, he said, “Honey, aren’t you finished with work yet?”

He was a CEO whose every minute could be worth hundreds of millions, and here he was waiting on his girlfriend to finish her work. If word got out, it would certainly raise eyebrows.

“Just a second.” Madisyn quickly replied to Jada, then hurried to wrap up her remaining tasks. Soon after, they left together.

They strolled through the shopping mall hand in hand, dining and shopping like any regular couple, but then Madisyn felt something amiss.

“Someone’s following us,” she murmured quietly.

She sensed that someone was stealthily taking pictures of them.

Andrew noticed as well. “Baby, ready to make the front page with me?”

“Aren’t you concerned?” Madisyn inquired.

“Life gets boring without Corbett stirring up trouble,” Andrew responded with a calm demeanor. Corbett was a tech genius, but to Andrew, he seemed trivial, hardly worth a second thought.

Madisyn chuckled. If Corbett knew Andrew regarded him this way, he would be livid.

As they continued shopping, Madisyn caught Andrew gazing at something.

She followed his gaze and realized he was looking at another woman.

“What’s the matter?” Madisyn asked, taken aback.

Andrew typically showed little interest in other women, and even someone as striking as Jada hadn’t turned his head. It was unexpected for him to show interest in a woman now.

“Madisyn, I just realized we’ve never worn matching outfits,” Andrew commented, his usually imposing stature mellowed by a slightly sullen look in his eyes. “Do you want to try some?” Madisyn’s heart melted a bit.

“Absolutely.” Andrew replied firmly.

So, they ventured into a clothing store and tried several outfits.

“Wow! Those look fantastic on you both! You’re just the perfect pair!” the saleswoman exclaimed, visibly astonished. The couple looked remarkably striking together.

Ultimately, Madisyn and Andrew selected matching black ensembles. Andrew chose a shirt and trousers, while Madisyn picked a T-shirt and a pleated skirt. Linking arms with Andrew, Madisyn joked, “Seeing us walk like this, people might mistake me for your mistress.”

“Why would they think that?” he queried.

“Because you look like a CEO, and I look like I just graduated from college,” Madisyn said, eyeing their reflection in the mirror.

“Sweetheart, are you implying I look old?” Andrew asked, a touch of worry in his tone.

“Not at all,” Madisyn replied, her smile playful as she covered her mouth.

Catching the teasing twinkle in her eyes, Andrew realized she was just playing with him, but he playfully pinched her cheek anyway. “You’re such a tease!”

They stayed out until very late before heading home.

The next day, Madisyn found herself in the headlines. Upon unlocking her phone, she was met with a barrage of notifications.

Elaine said, “You and Andrew are all over social media!”

Susan said, “Wow, you and Mr. Klein look great together. But I bet dealing with all those curious netizens is annoying, huh?”

Madisyn opened Twitter and was greeted by a slew of posts about her and Andrew.

“Andrew and Madisyn were seen on a romantic outing?”

“With the new product launch looming, is Mr. Klein too distracted by romance?”

“Team Andrew or Team Corbett?”

Andrew and Corbett were both on the brink of releasing new tech products, stirring significant public excitement. In this tech-driven era, the public relied on and reveled in advancements that made life easier.

Corbett, known for his technical prowess, had high expectations placed on him. At such a pivotal time, Andrew’s leisure activities left many fans feeling let down.

“Ansport’s business scene is about to change. Mr. Klein, with your upcoming new product launch, why does it seem like you’re only interested in dating?”

“Rumor has it Corbett has been pulling all-nighters at the office for weeks. I’m eager to see his new products! He’s really a tech prodigy.”

“Isn’t Howard the director of the technology department at Andrew’s? We haven’t seen anything new from him in a while. The Klein Group has made a wrong move this time. Howard really doesn’t measure up to Corbett.”

“Even though Howard used to be a key player, he just doesn’t stack up against Corbett now! I’ve lost interest in what the Klein Group will provide.”
