“You can stay in any hotels owned by Klein Group,” Andrew said.

The hotels owned by Klein Group were all high-end, so when the couple heard this, their eyes lit up with excitement. Of course, they immediately agreed. Then, the man said, “We can only wait for a week. I still have something to do, so we’ll leave.” The couple hurriedly exited.

Madisyn smiled. “I have a better idea. Maybe they’re doing this for their child. Let’s check if their child is short of money, which led them to take the risk.”

“That is a good idea. Madisyn, you are really smart,” Howard said, nodding in agreement.

Meanwhile, the couple started scolding each other as soon as they left the café.

The woman was trembling with anger. “I’ve told you that your brother is not a good man. If we can’t find our son back, I will kill him!”

The man retorted with dissatisfaction, “What’s the use of blaming me now? The most important thing now is to find our son!”

At this moment, the woman started crying. She said sadly, “They must have hidden him and will ask us for money later. They are so vicious. Boo-hoo! My son! My Colin! My poor baby!”

She cried so hard that she almost fainted.

The couple then left for the interview.

In a car not far away, the little boy who came with Madisyn felt a little bored sitting inside. So, he knelt on the seat and looked out of the window. Suddenly, he saw two familiar figures. His eyes instantly lit up, and he opened the door and rushed out. He shouted excitedly, “Dad! Mom!”

When the woman heard the boy’s voice, she hastily turned around. However, she only saw Howard, Madisyn, and Andrew getting into the car. There was no child with them, let alone their son.

Tears streamed down her face as she said, “I heard our son’s voice! Oh, I’m hallucinating now! He must have missed us. I told you not to do such things; we will be punished.”

“That’s enough! Why do you keep blaming me? Didn’t you also agree at that time? Who knew our son would be lost? Come on, stop crying now.” The man grabbed the woman’s wrist and pulled her away. They left in a hurry.

In fact, when Madisyn came out of the car, she saw the boy getting out of the car. He moved so fast that he almost fell down. Fortunately, she quickly walked forward and held him tightly, putting him back in his seat. “What are you doing? Why do you want to get out of the car?”

“I thought I saw my parents. They passed by the car,” the boy said anxiously.

When Madisyn heard this, she quickly let the boy out of the car to look around. However, he didn’t see his parents. He couldn’t help feeling sad, thinking he was only imagining things. “What’s wrong? How could my parents be here, after all?”

The boy sighed. He really missed his parents so much.

“I’m sure your parents are looking for you now. As long as they go to the police station, they can get in touch with us,” Madisyn said comfortingly, stroking the boy’s hair. She couldn’t help but feel for him.

The little boy looked at Madisyn. “Really?”

His eyes lit up. “Madisyn, you are so kind! My mother is good at cooking. When I get home, can you come to our house for dinner? I want to thank you.”

“Okay,” Madisyn readily agreed, smiling while still stroking his hair.

When Andrew saw this scene, he felt a little jealous. Madisyn was so gentle to the boy, and this child had completely captured her attention.

Madisyn didn’t notice this. She just returned to work. Unexpectedly, in the afternoon, everyone was calling for the downfall of Andrew and Howard.

As soon as Madisyn went out of the office building with the little boy, she saw a group of people holding placards that read, “The phone manufacturer should compensate the victims!”
