Chapter 412

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 412:

Dora’s expression shifted abruptly.

“Leave now. Don’t disturb Grandpa’s rest,” she commanded coldly.

Dora hesitated, clearly wanting to say more, but before she could speak, a few men in black appeared at her side. Without a word, they swiftly threw both Bruno and Dora out. The action was so swift that no one present had a chance to react.

Jada’s eyes widened in shock. While bodyguards were common in wealthy families—and she had had them as a child—Andrew’s were exceptional, having remained unseen and unnoticed. It became clear that Andrew wielded far more power than it appeared.

As she glanced at Andrew, Jada’s heart began to race. Damari and Madisyn were not overly surprised; they both understood that Andrew was exceptional.

“Forget them. It’s their own fault,” Damari reassured Andrew, then sighed. “It’s also my fault.”

“It’s not your fault, Grandpa. You’re wonderful, but they are just too greedy,” Andrew replied coldly.

Jada added, “That’s right, Damari. Without you and Andrew, the Klein Group wouldn’t be where it is today, and they wouldn’t have become a part of the esteemed Klein family. They just fail to see this.”

“Well, don’t linger here. It’s late. You all should go home,” Damari said, indicating he wanted to rest.

Jada turned to Madisyn and said, “Madisyn, why don’t you head back? I’ll stay with Damari. Andrew will likely stay as well, and we can manage. You’ve worked hard today, so you should get some rest.”

Madisyn’s face remained neutral. Although she appeared considerate, she was actually eager to stay with Andrew; she still longed to be with him.

“I’ll stay here. You both can head home,” Andrew said. Jada dared not protest when faced with his commanding gaze. She nodded and left with Madisyn.

As they left, Jada sighed and said, “Take good care of him if you marry Andrew.” Those who didn’t know her might actually believe that Jada was a Klein.

“So, how have you been lately?” Madisyn asked with indifference.

“I’m still working on the fragrance formulation, and it’s almost finished. The new products we’ve collaborated on with the Reed family are about to hit the market. I hear Susan’s also nearly ready on her end,” Jada said softly, glancing at Madisyn. “Madisyn, what’s your plan? Susan’s putting in a lot of effort, but she’s still an amateur. I’m worried she might tarnish your company’s reputation.”

Madisyn responded with a look of disdain, “I certainly won’t allow her to affect our reputation.”

“It appears she plans to submit her samples to Natural Beauty tomorrow,” Jada replied with a satisfied look.

“Is that so? I see,” Madisyn said softly.

Jada gazed up at the night sky, which was beautifully clear, her eyes reflecting her delight. After a moment, she turned and headed back to the Riggs family’s home.

Mara rushed up and asked, “How’s everything going in the hospital?”

“Not too bad. I had a nice chat with Damari,” Jada replied with a smile.

“Aren’t you ashamed?” A voice laced with sarcasm came from behind.

When Susan returned and overheard their conversation, she felt repulsed. “Andrew’s with Madisyn, yet you still try to cling to him. How shameless can you be? Do you really want to be a side chick that badly?”

Jada’s face flushed with embarrassment. Mara retorted, “Susan, how can you speak like that? She’s your sister!”

“Since she’s my sister, I need to correct her behavior,” Susan said, looking down at Jada since she was a bit taller. “I suggest you forget about Andrew. You wouldn’t want everyone to find out you’re trying to steal someone else’s boyfriend, would you?”

Jada’s anger made her chest rise and fall sharply. Then a thought struck her, and she sneered. “Susan, does Madisyn still hang out with you? She doesn’t even care about you, yet you defend her. How pathetic. It looks like you haven’t learned from past experiences.”

Jada’s eyes brimmed with genuine disdain. She had always held Susan in contempt.

“This has nothing to do with others,” Susan said with a sneer. “I’m disciplining my younger sister because I don’t want you to bring shame to the Riggs family. That’s all there is to it.”

“Am I bringing shame to the Riggs family, or are you just jealous?” Jada asked. With a hint of sarcasm, she continued, “You’ll never find a guy like Andrew. Your only option is to marry someone useful for the family. What’s waiting for you is just a fat and unattractive fiancé!”

Susan gave a sneer and headed upstairs.

Watching her retreating figure, Jada asked, “Mom, how is the search for Susan’s fiancé going?”

“Since the attempt, your father has been unhappy about it. Even though he hasn’t voiced it, I can tell he’s upset. But recently, I’ve found another promising candidate—a member of the Lewis family. Though they’re not as affluent as they once were, he would still be a good match for Susan.”

“A Lewis?” Jada frowned. “Isn’t that too good for Susan?” She wished for Susan to endure constant suffering and never find happiness again.

Mara shook her head and leaned in to whisper something in Jada’s ear. As the words sank in, Jada’s face lit up with a smile. “Mom, you’re the best!”
