Chapter 423

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 423:

The lights dimmed until the room was swallowed in darkness. A single spotlight flared, revealing Jazmine, Molly, and Milly at the center of attention.

Jazmine and Molly held their ground while Milly placed her hands on their shoulders, then sprang up with a surprising lightness that drew gasps from the audience.

“Did she just…?”

“She made it look so easy!”

“Wow, she’s incredible!”

Off to the side, Tatiana and her teammates watched, smirking in disbelief.

What was Milly planning next?

With perfect control, Milly flipped into a one-handed handstand, her body defying gravity. Then, in seamless motion, she launched into the air, completing three flawless somersaults before landing back on her teammates’ shoulders with grace. What followed were intricate, gravity-defying moves that left the audience breathless.

“Unbelievable!” someone commented, eyes wide.

“She’s on another level!”

“I can’t believe it! I’ve never seen anything like it!”

Tatiana stiffened, overhearing the awe in the crowd. She crossed her arms, feeling a pang of irritation. Seriously? That was supposed to be impressive? To her, it looked like nothing more than showboating. Ugh! Milly was good at putting on a spectacle!

No way could Milly’s team beat hers! They could never compare to her team!

As Milly’s group shifted into new poses, the complexity escalated. Milly executed moves so intricate that the crowd’s gaze never left her, hanging on every detail.

When the performance finally ended, the room buzzed with stunned whispers.

“Wait, that move looked so familiar! Isn’t it the same one performed by a master from our country on the World Acrobatics show?”

“But it looked so easy… and we know it’s not! I tried it once—nearly broke my neck!” one man said with a laugh.

“Milly’s on another level,” someone added. “She’s definitely a pro!”

“They must’ve built this whole stage just for her! Who knew she was this talented?”

“Loser? Who called her a loser? With skills like that, she’s easily the star of the show!”

“She moves with so much elegance and grace. If anyone could be a professional acrobat, it would be her!”

“The way she performs is incredible. Those somersaults? Milly could compete in the Olympics, no joke. She’s better than most athletes out there!”

As the crowd buzzed with excitement, the host stepped forward. “Now that both teams have completed their performances, it’s time for the viewers at home to decide—pick the team you prefer!”

The voting began, and the audience eagerly cast their votes. Five intense minutes passed.

“Alright!” The host’s voice echoed. “The voting has ended. Let’s see which team performed better! Eyes on the big screen, everyone!”

The crowd shifted their gaze to the screen behind them. The numbers for each team began to appear.

Team A was Tatiana’s team.

Team B was Milly’s team.

Tatiana watched as the votes for her team climbed to two hundred and fifty thousand. A small smirk tugged at her lips—it was a solid number. But her confidence wavered when she turned her attention to Milly’s team. Her breath hitched.

One million… no, one million and two hundred thousand votes.

Tatiana blinked, rubbed her eyes, and looked again. The number was real. Her face paled. Her teammates exchanged uneasy glances, the shock clear on their faces. There was no denying it—Milly had dominated the stage this time.

“Our Team B scored one million and two hundred thousand votes—unbelievable! That means Team A loses, and now it’s time for their punishment. Team B, how would you like to handle it?” the host exclaimed.

Jazmine hesitated, glancing at Milly. “Maybe we should just have them do a few push-ups? We don’t want to go overboard and get their fans angry.”

Milly’s expression remained calm. “I have something different in mind for Tatiana. I’ll ask her some questions. You can handle punishment for the others.”

Jazmine and Molly exchanged knowing glances, then nodded.

“We’ve got it!” Jazmine said.

“Great! What’s your decision?” asked the host. Jazmine smiled. “Lexi and Alfreda will do push-ups.”

“Is that okay for you?” the host asked the two girls.

“Yes!” they answered.

Tatiana narrowed her eyes. And what about her?

Milly stepped closer, her gaze locking onto Tatiana’s. “I’m being lenient with you. No push-ups; I just have a few questions—and I expect honest answers.”

The crowd buzzed with anticipation, the tension rising as everyone waited to see what would unfold next.

“When rivals in love face off, things always get heated! I can’t wait to see what happens!”

“I’m dying to know what Milly’s planning next. She’s quiet, but clearly knows what she’s doing.”

“Totally. She gives off this calm, strong vibe—definitely not just a pretty face. I really like her!”

“You guys are ridiculous! This whole thing was staged by the show and Milly. Seriously, how convenient is it that she just happens to be a pro at acrobatics? It’s too convenient.”

“Acrobatics? No, no, what Milly was doing is more than that. It’s martial arts. The way she controlled her body—it’s obvious. My master even asked if she wanted to train with him.”

“Wait, who’s your master?”

“Void. Some of you might have heard of him.”

“Void? No way!”

“Void! That Void?”

“Oh my gosh, he’s the martial arts legend from Lorpand! He’s only ever taken on three students. If Milly becomes one of his students… that would be incredible!”

Tatiana squared her shoulders and met Milly’s gaze. “Go ahead.”

Milly didn’t blink. “You have to answer truthfully.”

“Fine, no problem,” Tatiana replied, her voice steady—maybe a little too quick.

Milly’s first question was direct. “Have you ever loved Howard for real?”

Tatiana’s expression faltered for a moment, but she had expected this. Of course, Milly would bring up love. “Yes, I have,” she answered without hesitation.

Milly pressed on. “Did you love him deeply?”

Tatiana’s gaze softened, her voice quieter. “I did. He was my first love. I truly loved him back then.” Her sincerity hung in the air for a moment before Milly cut through it.

“And what about…?”
