Chapter 471

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 471:

“Oh, Miss Fernandez, your generosity is unmatched!”

“Miss Fernandez, what’s your secret? You look even more radiant today.”

“I’m so jealous, Miss Fernandez! Is your new play about to be released?”

Madisyn scanned the gathering crowd and spotted Tatiana among them. Today, Tatiana was a far cry from her previous despondency; she was vibrant, dressed in the latest fashion, and flaunting the key to her Porsche. She seemed to have regained her old carefree attitude from her best days and appeared even more arrogant than before.

Tatiana gave Madisyn a dismissive look and said with a smirk, “Oh, you like this dress? Why don’t you kneel and beg, and I’ll let you have it?”

Such arrogance!

Andrew stood next to Madisyn. Someone recognized him and hesitated to even take a deep breath.

Madisyn raised an eyebrow and inquired, “Seems like you’re enjoying life lately?”

With a smug smile, Tatiana replied, “Disappointed? Did you think I’d be ruined without Howard? Sorry to disappoint, but I’m actually doing better than ever.”

“Congratulations,” Madisyn replied calmly. “Who have you charmed this time?”

“You’ll find out soon enough.” Tatiana’s pride was palpable, her tone sharper than ever. “Madisyn, if you apologize now, I might just forgive your past mistakes!”

Madisyn felt like she didn’t recognize Tatiana at all. Even if Tatiana was with Hector, she shouldn’t have acted like this, right? After all, Hector was only the vice president of the Johns Group.

Madisyn pondered this change.

Seeing Madisyn remain silent, Tatiana assumed she was intimidated and grew even bolder, saying, “Madisyn, don’t you believe me? I’m telling you, everything you have will vanish like smoke within a few months!” After making her statement, Tatiana strutted away with her entourage of bodyguards in tow. Her departure sparked lively chatter among the onlookers.

“What is Tatiana seeing these days? She’s completely changed! Did you see what she was wearing? Such finery is beyond the reach of ordinary wealthy ladies.”

“It looks like Tatiana has really landed on her feet. I think I’ll keep my distance from now on.”

“Tatiana is so bold now. How can she speak to Madisyn like that? Who’s backing her?”

Not just Madisyn, but Andrew was intrigued. She couldn’t help but speculate—had Tatiana moved on from Hector to someone more influential?

Once Madisyn and Andrew entered a café, she immediately contacted one of her subordinates. “I’ve kept tabs on Tatiana lately. She’s still with Hector,” her subordinate said.

Narrowing her eyes, Madisyn responded, “Alright, keep me posted on any developments.”

“Tatiana’s become too full of herself. It seems Hector’s influence extends beyond the Johns Group to other sectors as well,” Andrew said.

“I agree.” Madisyn pulled out a pair of earphones, handing one to Andrew. He inserted it into his ear, and Madisyn played a recording.

“Ah, Mr. Lyons, hello.” It was Tatiana’s voice. “What? Tatiana? Why are you working here?” It was Hector.

“I had no other option…” Tatiana’s voice broke with sobs. They conversed for an extended period. Moved by sympathy, Hector offered Tatiana a sum of money. Initially hesitant, Tatiana ultimately accepted after Hector persisted.

A new scenario unfolded.

“Mr. Lyons, thank you for your assistance last time. Today, I insist on returning the favor. Please, feel free to order whatever you’d like.”

“Do you have enough money? If you let me choose freely, I might just break your bank.”

“Mr. Lyons, please stop teasing.”

Tatiana had asked Hector out for dinner. As their meal progressed, their conversation took a dirty turn. Tatiana, appearing tipsy, said, “Mr. Lyons, you’ve been too generous. The only thing I can offer you in return is myself!”

“Tatiana, reconsider. I’m fifteen years older than you!”

“Mr. Lyons, I like you!”

Soon after, faint sounds of kissing filled the air.

Madisyn was caught off guard and felt her ears heat up. She glanced at Andrew, who was quietly focused, seemingly unaffected by the recording. Taking a deep breath, she fast-forwarded the recording. They continued to breathe heavily, likely in a hotel. Madisyn considered skipping this part but was worried about missing key details, so she kept listening. Throughout the recording, Andrew’s expression remained neutral, as if the content didn’t affect him. Madisyn quietly admired his composure.

Following that evening, it was clear that Tatiana and Hector were officially an item, occasionally meeting up and always ending their nights in a hotel. Madisyn felt slightly irritated. Did they really favor hotels that much?

Then, a crucial piece of conversation occurred.

“Hector, are you quite troubled? Is something wrong?” Tatiana inquired.

“Yes, there’s an issue.”

“Is it about the Johns Group?” Tatiana asked.

Hector answered, “No, it’s another company of mine. There’s a problem there.”

“Oh! What company?” Tatiana sounded surprised.
