Chapter 472

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 472:

“You must have heard about it before.”

“I’ve heard of it?” Tatiana thought hard, trying to remember. “Yes, that’s right.”

“Hector, you’re incredible. With that company, you don’t need to settle for being the vice president of the Johns Group at all—it’s beneath you.”

Madisyn listened more carefully.

“Tatiana, there’s a bug here,” Hector said.

The recording cut off abruptly.

Madisyn and Andrew exchanged glances, and Andrew remarked slowly, “It seems Hector is quite capable. He discovered the bug you planted on Tatiana.” Madisyn agreed with a nod. If Hector wasn’t capable, he wouldn’t have managed to keep his secrets for so long.

Madisyn smiled. After making a few adjustments, the recording resumed. Tatiana, visibly frightened, asked, “Hector?”

“It’s a bug. You’ve been under surveillance,” he explained. “Have you upset anyone recently?”

Tatiana was unsure, having offended so many people.

Hector reassured her, “Don’t worry. The bug is gone now.”

“Thank you,” Tatiana said, sounding somewhat dependent and admiring. “If people knew you ran such a powerful entertainment company, they’d all admire you. You’re incredible!”

“Please don’t tell anyone about this, alright?”

“Okay, keep it quiet. I understand.” Tatiana was fully captivated by Hector’s power. “But why do you still want to be the vice president of the Johns Group if you’re so powerful? Running your own company would be great.”

“My father and Nolan were close friends and built the Johns Group together. Out of respect for my father, I can’t leave the company.”

“I understand now. It’s really fortunate for them to have you as such a capable vice president.”

They then shifted topics. Once Madisyn removed her headphones, she said, “It turns out Hector owns Global Entertainment.”

“Are you certain it’s Global Entertainment?” Andrew asked.

“Global Entertainment is the top company in the country. Its founder is very secretive and hasn’t revealed themselves. I didn’t expect it to be Hector; I’m familiar with almost all other company heads.”

While she was talking, Madisyn noticed a news update online.

“Milly and Maxine have failed to meet expectations. They have been dismissed by their crew, and Tatiana is now the heroine.”

Milly and Maxine had recently joined a film crew. Milly was cast in a supporting role, while Maxine was the heroine. However, both were dismissed from the crew, and Tatiana stepped in as the heroine, sparking intense discussion among netizens.

Madisyn glanced at the news and remarked, “Hector has to be the head of Global Entertainment; no other company could pull this off.”

He replaced two actresses at Global Entertainment, which was truly powerful.

Andrew, seeing the news on Madisyn’s phone, asked, “What’s the plan?”

“I’ll offer all endorsements from my company.”

“No need for that. I have my own approach. Since Global Entertainment is challenging us, I’ll confront them directly. Let’s see who’s stronger.” Madisyn’s lips curled into a slight smile. Faced with challenges, she showed no fear; instead, they ignited her fighting spirit. Andrew’s heart skipped a beat as he looked at her. That was exactly what he admired about Madisyn—her resilience and determination.

“If you need anything, just let me know,” Andrew said softly.

No longer in the mood for shopping, Madisyn headed straight to the company.

Upon arriving at the company, Madisyn discovered that some of their artists had been taken from them. During the meeting, everyone was criticizing Global Entertainment.

“Global Entertainment is outrageous! They’re even taking our minor projects. What are they thinking?”

“Such a major company engaging in such underhanded tactics?”

“What’s going on with Global Entertainment?”

Madisyn addressed them. “We must confront these challenges head-on. Global Entertainment has declared war on us, and we can’t let them walk away unscathed!”

When everyone heard this, the resentful murmurs among the group ceased, and a hush fell over the room. A voice spoke up, “Miss Johns, it’s a lack of ambition on our part. It’s just that Global Entertainment is overwhelmingly powerful. They are the largest company in our country, and their resources far outstrip ours. If we confront them directly, we’re bound to face severe losses. We’ve only just established our position. We should understand why Global Entertainment is targeting us before we act.”

Madisyn replied with a faint smile, “Let’s not forget that Edge Entertainment once had its glory days. True, we’re not as powerful as Global Entertainment, which is why they’re so bold. What do we gain by negotiating with them? Only humiliation.”

The room fell silent; her words hit home.

“Compile a report on the projects that have been seized,” Madisyn instructed.

After the meeting, she returned to her office.

Due to Global Entertainment’s aggressive actions, some people online were speculating whether Edge Entertainment had somehow crossed paths with Global Entertainment.
