Chapter 493

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 493:

Betsey exclaimed a triumphant, “Yes!”

After work, Madisyn changed her clothes and went to have dinner with Andrew. Fifteen minutes later, they reached a high-end restaurant. They chose a window table in the luxurious setting. When the steak was served, Andrew meticulously sliced it and placed it before Madisyn, then filled her champagne glass. They clinked their glasses together.

As their gazes locked, Madisyn’s eyes twinkled like the night sky, her smile captivating. Andrew, stunned for a moment, whispered, “You’re truly beautiful, babe.” His voice was resonant and captivating. A blush painted Madisyn’s cheeks. “Just eat!”

At that moment, Betsey and Levi entered.

The dim, sophisticated ambiance of the restaurant was everything Betsey had ever hoped for. Her mood lifted, and she wore a proud smile at her ascent into the city’s elite circle. They settled into their reserved seats. Betsey, startled by the sight of a steak priced over ten thousand dollars, concealed her astonishment, placed her order, and began flirting with Levi.

“So, you said you’re related to the Johns family?” Levi inquired.

Betsey smiled and responded, “Not directly related, but quite close to Madisyn. She’s even invited me to her birthday party!” Betsey showed him her chat log with Madisyn, dissolving Levi’s skepticism.

Levi harbored his own ambitions. As Norton’s influence expanded, he saw strategically beneficial marriage as essential for consolidating his position. Madisyn was his target. They were in Ansport, yet they hadn’t met. Thanks to Betsey, Levi now saw an opportunity to approach Madisyn. His smile broadened with satisfaction.

Betsey, too, was thrilled until she spotted the refined couple by the window. Though the dim lighting obscured their features, their high-class presence was undeniable. Betsey’s mind wandered into a reverie.

Suddenly, the woman rose and walked past their table toward the restroom. Betsey recognized her and nearly let her glass slip. Wasn’t that the shop assistant from the Natural Beauty store? How could someone of such humble status dine in the same venue as her? Betsey’s temper flared.

She had come from a humble village to this bustling metropolis, overcoming numerous challenges to establish herself. Yet here was this woman, seemingly elevated to these heights simply by her appearance! Betsey touched her face, which still stung from the earlier confrontation.

She knew better than to upset a powerful man, yet she felt confident in dealing with just an assistant. “Darling, I’m going to the restroom,” Betsey said, standing up. She returned shortly after.

Madisyn came back too, and Andrew offered her some food. “When did you start studying medicine?” he inquired.

“After my grandmother passed away,” Madisyn answered quietly, her face calm.

Andrew had researched Madisyn’s background. Her grandmother had died when she was very young. Could she really have begun studying medicine at such a young age? Imagining her early struggles was difficult. No wonder she was now considered a legendary doctor. Andrew’s feelings deepened, his look softening. “You’re truly exceptional, the most remarkable woman I’ve ever known.”

“Isn’t Jada remarkable as well?” Madisyn playfully added with a smile.

“She is, but not quite like you,” Andrew said.

“But she’s an intern at the Qiviut Organization. Did you hear about it?”

“Yes, it’s a renowned group.”

“Ever thought about joining them, given your brilliance?” Madisyn queried, eyeing Andrew intently.

Andrew just smiled. When Madisyn thought he was avoiding the question, he said, “Actually, I am already a member of the Qiviut Organization.”

Madisyn was taken aback, knowing members usually kept their affiliation with the Qiviut Organization secret because their global activities often endangered many people’s interests. Many adversaries targeted Qiviut Organization members, yet here was Andrew, openly sharing this with her.

“You’re amazing,” Madisyn said, her expression softening, a warmth spreading through her. He truly shared everything with her.

“If I weren’t, how could I be dating someone as amazing as you?” Andrew retorted playfully. “Have you thought about what you want for your birthday?”

“Sure,” Madisyn answered, though she was still preoccupied with thoughts of Andrew. Since she met him, he had solved countless issues for her, while she had only given him a few gifts.

Suddenly, a disturbance caught Madisyn’s attention. She turned to see several waitstaff gathered around Betsey.
