Chapter 51
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 51:
âMadisyn, youâre here too? Aiming for this deal?â Josie, dressed in a vibrant red outfit, expressed surprise at seeing Madisyn in the same meeting room.
âYes,â Madisyn replied coolly, her attention focused on the documents before her, showing little interest in further conversation.
Josie scoffed. âYou might as well quit now. Your struggling business doesnât stand a chance. Who would want to supply materials to a company thatâs failing?â
âStrength decides the outcome,â Madisyn retorted, shutting her folder, her tone calm and unwavering.
Josie let out a mocking laugh, feeling confident. Perhaps another division of the Johns Group might have a shot, but Natural Beauty? What strength did they have to speak of?
Before Josie could continue, the door opened, and both women were surprised to see Andrew walk in.
âMr. Klein,â Josie greeted enthusiastically, admiring Andrew in his polished suit. His charm was undeniableâno wonder her close friend Kristine had fallen for him. âI didnât expect you to be the supplier.â
âYes, I am,â Andrew responded, but his attention shifted to Madisyn. âLetâs begin with your proposals and strategies.â

Josie smirked to herself. Migge Skincare was leagues ahead of Natural Beauty, and she was certain her presentation would blow Madisynâs out of the water.
Both women presented their cases, outlining strategies and projections. Just as Andrew was about to comment, his phone rang, and he excused himself to take the call.
Seizing the moment, Josie leaned toward Madisyn, her tone dripping with arrogance. âMr. Klein will surely pick me. You might want to leave now to save yourself the embarrassment.â
Madisyn raised an eyebrow, her voice steady. âWhat makes you so sure?â
âMigge Skincare is light years ahead of Natural Beauty!â Josie declared proudly. âAnd donât forget, Kristine is Mr. Kleinâs fiancée. Iâm her close friend. Who do you think heâll favor?â
Madisynâs expression remained neutral, but she couldnât resist asking, âMr. Kleinâs fiancée? Has he actually confirmed that?â
Caught off guard by the question, Josie faltered. âWell, Kristine is perfect. Sheâs accomplished, graceful, and the only one deserving of Mr. Klein. Itâs only a matter of time.â
Madisyn smiled faintly, choosing not to engage further. Josieâs confidence was rooted in nothing but wishful thinking.
Josie, annoyed by Madisynâs calm demeanor, pressed on. âOh, and about your friend Susan⦠She used to work for Migge Skincare, right? Jobless now, I assume. If you back out of this deal, I might consider letting her return to her position.â
Madisynâs eyes darkened, her voice icy. âSo, you admit you were behind that.â
Josie smirked, not bothering to hide her role in Susanâs dismissal. âOf course. You donât understand the influence we hold. Even though youâre part of the Johns family now, youâre powerless. You wonât achieve anything, and youâll bring nothing but misfortune to those around you.â
Madisynâs lips curled into a smile. âI actually owe you thanks. Without your interference, Susan wouldnât have become such a valuable part of my team. Migge Skincare will regret losing her, but youâre too shortsighted to see that.â
Josie sneered. âLosing one sales assistant wonât make a difference. Youâre delusional.â
Before Madisyn could respond, Andrew returned, his face unreadable.
âMigge Skincareâs proposal is impressive,â Andrew began, causing Josie to smile smugly as she shot a triumphant look at Madisyn.
âBut,â Andrew continued, his gaze locking with Madisynâs, âNatural Beautyâs proposal surpasses it. Iâve decided to go with Natural Beauty.â
âWhat?â Josie shot up from her seat, disbelief and rage flooding her face. âThatâs impossible! Natural Beauty is nearly bankrupt! Youâll regret this, Mr. Klein!â
Andrewâs eyes narrowed, his tone sharp. âAre you questioning my decision?â
Realizing the gravity of her outburst, Josie hesitated, her face flushing with embarrassment. She had just confronted Andrew, of all people.
Swallowing her frustration, she turned her ire back on Madisyn. âFine. You might have secured this deal, but donât think this is over. At your product launch, Iâll be there to make sure you fail.â
Madisyn met Josieâs glare with calm determination. âWeâll see about that.â
