Chapter 541

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 541:

Madisyn simply smiled, choosing to stay silent.

Tatiana fumed, but her thoughts quickly shifted to Hector. He was already forty—was it possible that he was already married? With his impressive attributes and being a straight man, surely he would have married by now if he wanted to. Could it be that Hector had a family he was hiding?

A cold shiver ran through her, and Tatiana’s expression soured even more. However, she refused to let Madisyn get the upper hand right now. “What are you even talking about? You’re just jealous of me, aren’t you? Huh?”

“Jealous of you?” Madisyn chuckled at the absurdity and glanced at Andrew sitting across from her.

Andrew carried himself with an undeniable sense of authority, his presence alone radiating the confidence of someone truly powerful. Tatiana’s smugness dimmed slightly, though she continued her verbal assault. “Hmph, what does Andrew’s success have to do with you? Your company is collapsing. The Johns family is cursed with someone like you—soon, everyone will be mocking your whole family!” Tatiana’s pleasure grew the more she ranted.

“Who are you having dinner with tonight?” Madisyn questioned casually.

Tatiana instantly tensed. She couldn’t let Madisyn find out she was dining with Hector; if his identity were revealed, it would ruin everything.

“Am I not allowed to dine alone?” Tatiana shot back, pulling out her phone to send a message to Hector. Madisyn didn’t bother to call out Tatiana’s hypocrisy. “Go ahead, enjoy your dinner. It could be your last peaceful one for a while.”

“Madisyn, how dare you mock me like that?” Tatiana snapped, clearly irritated.

Madisyn simply gave a soft laugh and carried on with her meal, completely unfazed by Tatiana’s outburst.

Tatiana sulkily walked toward her seat. Hector wouldn’t be able to join her, but she wasn’t about to let her carefully planned evening go to waste—she still intended to flaunt it.

She snapped a series of selfies from her seat, posting them online with satisfaction.

Her followers quickly flooded her posts with compliments.

“Tatiana, you’re stunning! Mwah!”

“Her face is like a work of art—I adore her!”

“Isn’t this the Golden Hotel? I’ve always wanted to dine here, but it’s too pricey, ugh.”

“Who are you having dinner with? Did everyone forget what Tatiana did? How can people still be praising her?”

From time to time, negative comments popped up, but Tatiana quickly deleted them. She basked in her own satisfaction, relishing the compliments, the delicious food, and the stunning views. This was the life she had earned, and she believed it would only improve from here.

Tatiana shot a glance at Madisyn and let out a derisive snort. Edge Entertainment was bound for disaster. Tatiana quickly sent a message to Hector:

“Hector, when does your plan take action?”

Hector responded, “Don’t worry, it’ll be soon.”

Tatiana’s excitement bubbled over.

Just halfway through the meal, shocking news erupted. “Kathy has been spotted!”

“Someone claims that Kathy is being held against her will!” Numerous netizens claimed to have seen a woman who strongly resembled Kathy in the suburbs, and many shared photos.

The woman’s figure in the photos unmistakably resembled Kathy.

Shockwaves rippled through the crowd. Could it be true that Kathy had been kidnapped?

“I saw someone taking Kathy into an abandoned building yesterday when I returned to my hometown. I had to run an errand, but when I came back, no one was around. She must have been moved.”

“Oh my god, I also saw someone who looked like Kathy, but I didn’t want to believe it. Now that you say that, it must have been her.”

“Kathy is so unfortunate. If Global Entertainment had taken her, they would’ve showcased her to prove she was alive. Since she’s merely missing, it must be Edge doing this. They’re so ruthless! Bring Kathy back!”

“Edge Entertainment, return Kathy!”

“Call the cops! This screams of Edge Entertainment.”

“Madisyn, how could you be so callous?”

“Madisyn, show yourself and explain.”

Furious netizens unleashed their anger at Madisyn, insisting that she return Kathy. In a flash, attention shifted away from Global Entertainment.

Tatiana watched the tides turn completely in her favor and couldn’t help but admire Hector. He was brilliant; his plans always managed to flip the script. Meanwhile, Madisyn was reeling. Friends popped up, and she caught sight of the breaking news online.

Andrew noticed as well. “Hector has struck.”

“Yes, just as planned,” Madisyn responded coolly, betraying no signs of distress.

Andrew grinned. “If Hector knew you had outsmarted him, he’d be furious.”

“Because he was destined to lose from the start,” Madisyn stated matter-of-factly.

Andrew raised an eyebrow, quickly grasping Madisyn’s implication, and a smile danced on his lips.

Hector believed his plan was foolproof, yet he had already set himself up for total failure.

“Oh, do you still feel like eating?” In a cheerful mood, Tatiana approached and looked down at Madisyn with a smirk. “Miss Johns, are you prepared to give up on Edge Entertainment?”
