Chapter 568

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 568:

Mercer retorted, “I was only forced to frame the YM Club to help you win the championship. But what did you do? You stabbed me in the back after everything I did for you.”

“Humph! We left the team following proper procedures. What right do you have to come here and accuse us?” Wesley said impatiently.

“I gave you two the best opportunities in HB Club. I nurtured you. But what did you do? When the club got into trouble, you couldn’t wait to leave. And you even poached my people. Are you not afraid of public scorn?”

Mercer was so livid that his face flushed, and blue veins bulged on his forehead.

But Wesley wouldn’t give in. “Instead of criticizing us, why don’t you reflect on yourself? At least we left according to the rules. How about you? When you married Hamlin’s daughter, you transferred her assets to you and Hamlin’s team members. How dare you lecture us now?”

Wesley’s attitude was laden with contempt, and Mercer, losing his composure, swung his fist in anger towards Wesley’s face.

Wesley, trained in fighting since childhood, easily dodged and captured Mercer’s fist, retaliating with a solid punch to Mercer’s stomach. Mercer nearly retched.

Wesley then forcefully kicked Mercer away.

“In the midst of training, stop causing trouble here! Get lost!” Wesley exclaimed in fury.

Observing the group united against him, Mercer—who was once their leader—realized they no longer respected him. In that moment, he understood how Hamlin must have felt years ago. Indeed, karma was real. Silently, Mercer left, his expression grim.

“What an idiot! How does he even have the nerve to talk down to us?” one team member scoffed.

“Ignore him. Our goal is to place in the top three in the international competition,” Wesley stated.

“Alright, but many excellent racers have appeared in other countries recently. The pressure on this team is going to be intense,” another racer voiced, concern evident in his tone.

Everyone felt a little anxious.

At that moment, Jada received a notification on her phone. She glanced at it and smiled reassuringly. “Don’t worry. We’re definitely going to place in the top three.”

“Jada, how can you be so confident?”

“I guess I forgot to tell you all, but Rosemarie is actually my…” Jada revealed with a smile.

Shock and envy instantly registered on everyone’s faces.

“Really, Jada? Can you invite Rosemarie to join our team?”

“No wonder Jada is so skilled. Turns out she’s the student of my idol.”

Wesley, visibly more thrilled and his face flushing with excitement, said, “Jada, are you serious? Does that mean…?”

“We can meet Rosemarie?”

“Why would I lie to you? My master just messaged me, and she’s decided to join our team,” Jada said, beaming.
