Chapter 569

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 569:

“Oh my god, Jada, that’s amazing!” Wesley exclaimed, unable to contain his joy as he lifted her and spun her around. The rest of the team erupted in cheers and shouts of delight.

Meanwhile, Madisyn, who was, in fact, Rosemarie herself, was discussing a project with Andrew when she noticed headlines online.

“Rosemarie Joins The Rams!”

“Tap Racing Queen Makes Her Comeback and Chooses The Rams!”

“Can The Rams Win the International Championship?”

Madisyn stared at the screen, her mind racing as she wondered if she was misreading the bold letters. After reading one of the articles, her surprise mounted—she, the revered “Racing Queen” Rosemarie, was being announced as part of a team she hadn’t known she’d joined!

Speechless, Madisyn puzzled over the situation. How had she joined a racing team without even knowing about it?

It didn’t take her long to discover the background of the team. After Wesley and Jada left HP Club, they had forged their path with a new team—the Rams—a symbol of their resolve to conquer the international championship.

Compelled by a mix of curiosity and confusion, Madisyn ventured to make her first public comment online. “How can you prove that’s really Rosemarie?”

A quick response came. “Jada said that Rosemarie is her master, and she personally invited her. It has to be the real deal!” It was Jada again.

Since when had she been considered Jada’s master? Taking a deep breath, Madisyn felt a wave of frustration wash over her.

“What’s wrong, babe?” Andrew leaned closer, his eyes scanning the news on her screen. “Don’t worry. Even if Rosemarie joined their team, we’re not going to lose. She’s an incredible racer, but she hasn’t competed for many years. No matter how good she was, she can’t possibly be as sharp as she once was,” Andrew reassured her confidently.

“Besides, I think you’re every bit as good as Rosemarie.”

Madisyn couldn’t suppress a smile. “You really have that much confidence in me? But I still think Rosemarie is better.”

“Now Rosemarie was just lucky,” Andrew countered with a grin, his admiration for Madisyn unwavering.

Madisyn’s laughter was richer and more heartfelt this time. Andrew had always believed that no one could ever match her in any endeavor. If he ever discovered that she was, in fact, Rosemarie, he could hardly fathom his astonishment.

Holding his hand tenderly, she inquired with a sweet smile, “Really? What if I lose, Andrew?”

It was rare for Andrew to witness her display such vulnerability and playfulness, and it utterly melted his heart. “I’ll protect you and ensure you come first,” he declared passionately.

“Thank you. You’re the best,” Madisyn responded, her voice soft with affection.

In that moment, Andrew’s heart skipped a beat, and he leaned down to kiss her. But they were in the office!

Madisyn instinctively thought to pull away, but his kiss was so gentle, so persuasive, that her resolve melted. Her hands, initially poised to push him away, instead rested softly on his chest.
