Chapter 594

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 594:

Madisyn’s heart fluttered.

“Alright,” she said, her gaze dropping slightly.

“What’s wrong? Still worried?” Andrew’s voice was gentle as he wrapped an arm around her waist, his inquiry soft.

“It’s just that you treat me so well,” Madisyn confessed.

“Sweetheart, you must stop saying such things,” Andrew chided playfully as he pinched her cheek lightly. “You’re my girlfriend. Who else would I treat well, if not you?”

“Will you ever fall for someone else?” Madisyn’s question was laden with unspoken fears as she looked up at him. For some reason, Andrew felt a twinge of nervousness under her probing gaze.

“Sweetheart, what are you saying?” he asked.

Madisyn remained silent, her eyes quietly studying him.

“The only woman in my vicinity is my secretary, and if it troubles you, I’m willing to replace her with a male secretary. And about the female executives—though they aren’t as easily replaced, if it eases your concerns, I can minimize my contact with them…”

Andrew mentally sifted through every woman he had ever known, but still, he couldn’t figure out who Madisyn was suspicious of.

Noticing the unwavering look on her face, he cautiously inquired, “Babe, what do you really mean? Can you just tell me directly?”

“Never mind,” Madisyn said. “I’m going to rest.”

“No way.” Andrew swiftly grabbed Madisyn’s wrist. “You can’t just brush this off, honey. You need to vent your feelings, or else you’ll end up disappointed in me.” His anxious demeanor took Madisyn by surprise. She had only felt a hint of displeasure, yet to Andrew, it seemed like a monumental concern.

“Nothing’s wrong,” Madisyn started, but Andrew swiftly cut her off.

“What, princess, right? She’s just here to learn about our market. There’s absolutely nothing between us. We don’t even have each other’s contact information.”

Madisyn was taken aback. “Princess?”

“Yes, that’s right. She’s Jessica’s sister,” Andrew clarified. “But their statuses are quite different. Jessica is illegitimate, while she’s the legitimate princess.”

Madisyn pondered the implications.

Another princess from Aswil.

Andrew watched her nervously, worried she might be upset, but she seemed deep in thought. After a moment, she inquired, “Is she planning some sort of collaboration here?”

“It’s not clear at the moment,” Andrew replied.

“If she has any plans, let me know immediately,” Madisyn instructed.

Andrew noticed that Madisyn’s focus had shifted. “Why are you so concerned about the princess from Aswil?”

“Serpentine Palers has connections to Aswil. The country is currently divided into two factions: one led by Princess Jessica’s father and the other by the reigning king. I’m unsure which faction Serpentine Palers aligns with.”
