Chapter 604
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 604:
âAlright,â Andrew murmured, burying his head in the crook of her neck and holding her close, savoring the peaceful moment. Madisyn closed her eyes, feeling warmth gradually filling her heart.
They stayed like that for a while, wrapped in each otherâs embrace, enjoying a rare sense of tranquility. Suddenly, a phone rang, interrupting the quiet moment. Andrewâs expression shifted, a touch of annoyance flashing across his face. He picked up the phone with a frown, glancing at the screen. When he saw the name flashing, his expression changed slightly.
He let go of Madisyn and said, âI need to take this.â Madisyn watched him walk out of the room, feeling a bit unsettled.
But she didnât follow him. Instead, she stayed on the bed, waiting for him to return.
When Andrew came back into the room, his expression had returned to normal. However, Madisyn still sensed that something was off. She couldnât help but ask, âIs everything alright? What was that call about? Did something happen?â
âNothing important,â Andrew replied, lying back on the bed and pulling her close again. âJust some minor issues at work.â
Madisyn felt a cold aura emanating from him. Something must have really happened. But since he obviously didnât want to talk about it, she didnât press him any further. She simply lay there, holding him in silence.
In the afternoon, Madisyn and Andrew strolled through the bustling shopping district, hand in hand, looking for items for their engagement. That included choosing the all-important engagement dress.
Madisyn followed Andrew into a shop, thinking he would help her pick out a dress there. But to her surprise, he asked the shop owner to bring out a custom-made gown.
As the shop owner carefully unveiled the dress, Madisynâs eyes widened in awe. The beautiful gown was so dazzling that she fell in love with it at first sight.
âWow, this is gorgeous! But it must have been very troublesome to make. When did you order it?â Madisyn exclaimed, almost unable to tear her eyes away from the dress.
Andrew smiled and replied, âHalf a year ago.â Madisyn was shocked. Half a year ago? They hadnât even known each other for that long at that time.

Looking into Andrewâs eyes, she saw the tenderness and determination that filled them. A wave of emotions surged within her. Never had she imagined someone would choose her so resolutely.
She smiled and stepped into the fitting room, the delicate fabric of the dress draped over her arm.
Suddenly, loud voices interrupted the peaceful moment in the shop. Since this was the most famous dress shop in Ansport, it was common to see people from wealthy families shopping there. Today, Jada and Wesley walked in, chatting as they browsed through the racks of luxurious gowns and suits. They didnât expect to run into Andrew.
