Wesley’s face flushed with embarrassment. Since childhood, he had always followed behind Andrew like a shadow. He knew he was no match for Andrew in strength or capabilities. That was why he had accepted Andrew’s dominance, never allowing it to bother him deeply. But now, with his new position as CEO of the Lambert Group, it stung.

His words hit Wesley like a slap. Indeed, Andrew was right. He had canceled the cooperation because of Madisyn.

“Andrew, I have no ill intentions towards you,” Wesley said indignantly. “I’m doing this for your own good. Madisyn is not a good person. You’re all being deceived by her. If you break up with her, I will definitely continue to cooperate with you, and I’m also willing to compensate for the previous losses.”

Andrew’s eyes narrowed, his tone firm. “Sorry, but breaking up is not an option. We’re getting engaged soon.”

His face turned cold, and the temperature in the room seemed to drop drastically, making both Wesley and Jada subconsciously shiver.
