Chapter 606
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 606:
Madisyn beamed, but her eyes soon drifted to where Wesley and Jada stood. She barely acknowledged them, turning her attention back to Andrew. âYou should try the white suit. I saw one that would look absolutely fantastic on you.â
Andrew obediently headed off to change.
Wesleyâs emotions swirled in a complicated mix. The friend he had admired since childhood seemed so compliant in Madisynâs presence.
âMadisyn, I never would have imagined that, even after the news of my canceled collaborations has been out for so long, you havenât shown an ounce of concern. It appears youâre utterly indifferent to how others are affected because of you!â Wesley sneered, his tone laced with disdain. âYou truly are just as I thoughtâcompletely unconcerned about anyone elseâs well-being.â
Madisynâs gaze turned icy as she replied, âDo you genuinely believe your actions will force everyone to submit? For Andrewâs sake, I strongly advise you to retract that order soon, or youâll come to regret it.â
Wesley sneered defiantly, his voice dripping with arrogance. âI wonât regret it. The ones who will regret it are you.â
With that, he took Jada by the hand and led her toward the racks to try on clothes.
Jada chose the most extravagant outfits in the store, gazing at her shimmering reflection in the mirror as if she were reclaiming her former glory.
Wesley watched her, admiration shining in his eyes. âJada, this truly suits you!â he exclaimed.
Jada smiled faintly, yet a flicker of concern clouded her expression. âWesley, itâs been a while since you issued that order. Theyâve likely lost tens of millions of dollars, perhaps even billions. But why havenât they responded?â Andrew was an enigma, and Jada couldnât shake the nagging fear that he might have some clever countermeasure up his sleeve.
âThey canât just abandon foreign trade; theyâll suffer major financial loss. Weâre utilizing our shipping routes for our own goods, which will significantly boost our annual income!â Wesley replied, unfazed.
Hearing this, Jada felt a wave of reassurance wash over her; perhaps she had been overthinking things. Most of the foreign trade routes were under Wesleyâs control. What could the others really do? If they opted out, the losses would fall squarely on their shoulders.
Jadaâs face brightened with a triumphant smile, her eyes sparkling with pride. Hmph, she couldnât shake the belief that, in time, they would turn their attention toward Madisyn!

Ultimately, Madisyn would become the target of all their frustrations. With this thought swirling in her mind, Jada pulled out her phone to message the leader of the hired online agitators.
Andrew and Madisyn spent the entire afternoon indulging in a delightful shopping spree, and by the time they returned home, it was quite late.
Andrew guided Madisyn to the guest room, a space imbued with a distinctly feminine charm. The pink decor exuded a dreamy quality, and a lavish princess bed stood proudly in the center, clearly arranged with thoughtful attention.
