Chapter 622
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 622:
âOh,â Madisyn responded. Her gaze shifted to Andrew, who quickly interjected, âShe knew I was here for the race and wanted to discuss a project.â
Andrewâs sincerity shone through; he was truly innocent in the matter. Not wanting Madisyn to misinterpret the situation, he had intended to handle it over the phone. Yet, Savannah had chosen to come directly instead.
Savannah
If Savannah were to step into Andrewâs room, it might lead to misunderstandings. To prevent that, Andrew decided to address the situation right then and there. But just as they started, Madisyn showed up.
âYouâre Mr. Kleinâs girlfriend, right? Weâre here to talk about a project weâre working on together,â Savannah said, her tone friendly. She offered a small smile, with a hint of apology in her expression.
Madisyn knew that getting upset would make her seem unkind, so she simply nodded and said, âYou two can go ahead.â Just as she turned to leave, Andrew reached for her wrist, stopping her gently. âItâs nothing serious, just a quick issue. Stay. We wonât be long.â
Savannah smiled in agreement. Madisyn had wanted to go for a run, but seeing Andrewâs tense expression, she decided to stay. As expected, they spoke for only a few minutes before Savannah left.
Several bodyguards escorted Savannah out. Once inside the car, she closed her eyes to rest. One of the bodyguards asked, âYour Highness, do you think Andrew will cooperate with us?â
âThe cooperation is just a cover,â Savannah replied, opening her eyes. Her smile faded, replaced by a calm, sharp look. âWe want to change the situation, but cooperation alone wonât be enough.â
Andrew knew Madisyn wanted to run, so he joined her for a jog. Afterward, they had breakfast and headed to the racetrack. âYou need to stay unnoticed for now,â Andrew said, handing Zahir a pair of sunglasses.
Zahir had already picked up on the situation from Andrewâs explanations. He had a younger brother, and that brother was easily controlled by a woman. Zahir couldnât stand men who allowed that to happen.
He couldnât believe his younger brother was reckless enough to cross the other three major families, all because of that woman. If Zahirâs identity were exposed now, Wesley would try to get rid of their grandfather and take full control of the family. Zahir slipped on the sunglasses, his face turning cold, his eyes unreadable.
When they arrived, the others were already there, waiting. Jada had been watching Madisyn, curious about the new racer. Then, she noticed the man in sunglasses.

He looked strangely familiar. Jadaâs gaze stayed locked on Zahir, confusion creeping over her. Wesley noticed him too.
The moment their eyes met, a chill ran down his spine. Was that his older brother?
It couldnât be. His brother had been in a terrible racing accident years ago. The fall from that cliff had been too highâno one couldâve survived it.
