Chapter 628
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 628:
âDo you really think weâre blind? We all saw you and Rosemarie trying to knock that racer off the track!â The crowdâs disgust was palpable.
Jada nearly blacked out from sheer rage. She was beyond furious.
After all their meticulous planning, not only had they failed to sabotage Madisyn, but theyâd also lost their shot at the race. Wesley stood nearby, his face clouded with a mix of emotions. He hadnât anticipated that their participation in the international competition would turn them into a laughingstock.
âLetâs go,â he muttered in a low, resigned tone.
Jada, still simmering with dissatisfaction, knew there was no point in arguing when the entire crowd had sided with Thea. They were ready to leave, but Thea wasnât about to let them off that easily.
âHold it right there! Have you already forgotten our bet? You lost, so now you owe each of us ten grand!â Thea shouted.
âI know. Iâll pay you later!â Rosemarie snapped back coldly.
âLater? Who knows when thatâll be? You need to pay up now,â Thea shot back, her tone firm. The crowd closed in, forming a tight circle to block Rosemarieâs escape.
Jada trembled with rage, feeling utterly cornered.
âHave you no shame? Youâre just taking advantage of my masterâs injury, ganging up on her because sheâs not as skilled as she used to be. Have you all forgotten how she once wiped the floor with every single one of you?â she shouted, her voice quivering with anger.
âYour master? The truth is right in front of you, and you still canât see it. This personâs skills are pathetic. Only someone like you would believe sheâs Rosemarie.â Thea sneered at Jada, her eyes filled with contempt.
Jada, standing firm, shot back, âI know her abilities better than anyone. She is Rosemarie!â
âSorry, but Iâve never trained a student like you.â

A cold voice rang out, and Madisyn strolled over, stopping by Theaâs side. Her face remained impassive, her striking features etched with a cool detachment, and her voice as icy as her gaze. Her words left everyone momentarily speechless.
âWhat are you talking about?â Jada asked, her brow furrowing in confusion.
Madisyn chuckled, a sharp, cold sound. âYouâve been played by an imposter. If you had any sense during my first race against her, youâd have figured out she was a fraud back then.â
All eyes turned to Madisyn as the crowd slowly pieced together the truth.
âOh my God! Could she be the real Rosemarie? But she looks so young⦠Was she even an adult when she raced back then?â
âI believe she is Rosemarie. Her skills are just like the Rosemarie from before!â
âThatâs right. Sheâs the real Rosemarie.â
