Chapter 628

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 628:

“Do you really think we’re blind? We all saw you and Rosemarie trying to knock that racer off the track!” The crowd’s disgust was palpable.

Jada nearly blacked out from sheer rage. She was beyond furious.

After all their meticulous planning, not only had they failed to sabotage Madisyn, but they’d also lost their shot at the race. Wesley stood nearby, his face clouded with a mix of emotions. He hadn’t anticipated that their participation in the international competition would turn them into a laughingstock.

“Let’s go,” he muttered in a low, resigned tone.

Jada, still simmering with dissatisfaction, knew there was no point in arguing when the entire crowd had sided with Thea. They were ready to leave, but Thea wasn’t about to let them off that easily.

“Hold it right there! Have you already forgotten our bet? You lost, so now you owe each of us ten grand!” Thea shouted.

“I know. I’ll pay you later!” Rosemarie snapped back coldly.

“Later? Who knows when that’ll be? You need to pay up now,” Thea shot back, her tone firm. The crowd closed in, forming a tight circle to block Rosemarie’s escape.

Jada trembled with rage, feeling utterly cornered.

“Have you no shame? You’re just taking advantage of my master’s injury, ganging up on her because she’s not as skilled as she used to be. Have you all forgotten how she once wiped the floor with every single one of you?” she shouted, her voice quivering with anger.

“Your master? The truth is right in front of you, and you still can’t see it. This person’s skills are pathetic. Only someone like you would believe she’s Rosemarie.” Thea sneered at Jada, her eyes filled with contempt.

Jada, standing firm, shot back, “I know her abilities better than anyone. She is Rosemarie!”

“Sorry, but I’ve never trained a student like you.”

A cold voice rang out, and Madisyn strolled over, stopping by Thea’s side. Her face remained impassive, her striking features etched with a cool detachment, and her voice as icy as her gaze. Her words left everyone momentarily speechless.

“What are you talking about?” Jada asked, her brow furrowing in confusion.

Madisyn chuckled, a sharp, cold sound. “You’ve been played by an imposter. If you had any sense during my first race against her, you’d have figured out she was a fraud back then.”

All eyes turned to Madisyn as the crowd slowly pieced together the truth.

“Oh my God! Could she be the real Rosemarie? But she looks so young… Was she even an adult when she raced back then?”

“I believe she is Rosemarie. Her skills are just like the Rosemarie from before!”

“That’s right. She’s the real Rosemarie.”
