Chapter 634

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 634:

Madisyn was breathtakingly beautiful, with bright eyes, a well-defined nose, and rosy lips that complemented her delicate features. Seeing her up close, Wesley was struck by just how stunning she truly was. A wave of guilt washed over him.

“Madisyn, please wait,” he called out softly.

She didn’t even glance at him and continued walking inside with the others.

Desperate, Wesley stepped in front of her.

“I’m sorry, Madisyn,” he said earnestly. “Please, hear me out.”

“Step aside,” Madisyn replied coldly.

Wesley’s face went pale. Madisyn didn’t even want to talk to him!

“Madisyn, please,” he continued, desperation creeping into his voice. “I didn’t know you were Rosemarie. If I had, I would have acted differently. I’m so sorry.” His words faltered as he struggled with his emotions, hoping for some sign of forgiveness.

“Even if I am Rosemarie, it means nothing to you,” Madisyn replied, her voice icy and her expression unreadable.

Wesley felt her words cut through him. How could she claim it had nothing to do with him? He had worked tirelessly in racing just to get closer to Rosemarie. Meeting her had been his dream.

“I’m sorry. Please, tell me how I can make things right,” Wesley pleaded.

Madisyn’s eyes narrowed slightly, her gaze piercing. “There’s nothing to make right. We have no connection, Wesley, so there’s nothing to forgive.”

Those words stung more than anything else.

Wesley stood frozen, watching her walk away, feeling as though his heart had shattered.

Jada, sensing his pain, gently took Wesley’s hand. Her face was etched with deep concern. “How could Madisyn treat you like this? It’s so cruel,” she whispered.

“Shut up!” Wesley snapped, his voice trembling with anger. “Who do you think you are, talking about her like that? This is all my fault!”

Jada’s face drained of color as anger surged within her. Madisyn had every right to treat Wesley this way. He was such a hopeless fool!

However, she took a deep breath and said, “I’m sorry, Wesley. I just hate to see you like this.”

Wesley’s eyes filled with tears as he watched Madisyn disappear into the distance. Suddenly, he felt lost.

The woman he had fought so hard for now despised him. And now, he wasn’t even sure what he was fighting for anymore.

“You said that if you had known who she was, you wouldn’t have treated her this way,” Jada continued softly. “But look at her now—she’s still distant. To her, you don’t matter at all…” She paused, then added, thoughtful, “It’s like how Andrew and Norton always overlook you. They don’t take you seriously because you’re the youngest. But if you gain enough power, enough strength that no one can ignore you, Madisyn would naturally come closer. Power is everything in this world.”
