Chapter 647

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 647:

“Who’s that man? Is she having an affair?” Madisyn asked in disbelief, still processing the shocking discovery. Esteban was a good man, and Mara was fortunate to have him. But Mara didn’t seem to appreciate him—she was having an affair. What was she thinking?

Andrew guided Madisyn to their table. After helping her sit, he said, “Esteban and his first wife were deeply in love. Their love story was the talk of Ansport.”

Madisyn thought for a moment. How could Esteban have a daughter with someone else so soon after his first wife’s death?

“Jada isn’t Esteban’s daughter,” Madisyn concluded almost immediately.

Andrew looked at her with admiration. “That was my suspicion. But after what we’ve seen today, it seems likely to be true.”

Madisyn immediately sent a message to Susan. “Susan, can you get me a strand of your father’s hair?”

Susan replied, “Sure, I can. But what do you need it for?”

Madisyn didn’t intend to hide her reasoning from Susan, so she explained her theory.

Sure enough, Susan was shocked.

If Jada was truly not Esteban’s daughter, then Mara had been incredibly bold to deceive Esteban like that.

Soon, the waiters arrived with their orders. Madisyn put down her phone and enjoyed her meal with Andrew.

As they sat across from each other in the softly lit restaurant, Madisyn couldn’t help but steal glances at Andrew. He looked handsome and gentle tonight, attentively serving her food and drinks.

Madisyn smiled playfully. “You know, I think you’d make a great butler.”

“I could be. But only for you,” Andrew replied with a smile.

Madisyn smiled, amused.

After dinner, feeling pleasantly full, they decided to go for a walk together.

As they stepped out of the restaurant, the cool, refreshing evening air enveloped them. At that moment, Andrew received a call from Zahir.

“How could Wesley have changed so much in just a few years?” Zahir’s exasperated voice crackled through the phone. “He’s been causing a ruckus at home, even threatening to commit suicide.”

Andrew sighed. “He’s not inherently bad. He’s just been led astray.”

“Yes, I know. But as things stand, Grandpa is quite troubled.”

Not only Clayton but also Zahir was at his wit’s end.

Madisyn, close enough to hear everything clearly, thought for a moment. She then stretched out her hand toward Andrew. He handed her the phone.

Madisyn took it and said, “I have an idea. You can give it a try.”

“Miss Johns, please tell me.”

“This is what you can do…”

Madisyn explained her plan to Zahir.
