Chapter 648

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 648:

After listening to her, Zahir responded, “Okay, I’ll give it a try. Thank you, Miss Johns.”

Andrew walked Madisyn to the door of her villa. As they stood there, he leaned in and placed a soft kiss on her forehead, his warm lips lingering just a moment longer than necessary. He whispered in her ear, “I’m looking forward to that day.”

He gazed at her with a tenderness that made her heart flutter.

Madisyn blinked a few times, meeting his gaze. “Me too,” she replied softly.

They were both thinking about their upcoming engagement, which was drawing nearer with each passing day.

“Get some rest.” Andrew reached out and gently stroked her cheek.

Madisyn nodded, then turned and entered the villa. Only after she closed the door behind her did Andrew head back to his own villa.

The next day, at the Lambert family home, Wesley was up at the crack of dawn, throwing a tantrum.

He hurled whatever he could find in his bedroom. After his grandfather had removed most of his belongings, the room grew quieter, and Wesley resorted to pounding on the door in frustration.

“Thud! Thud! Thud!”

He continued battering the door, his anger mounting.

Suddenly, the door swung open, and he stumbled forward, wincing in pain. Looking up, he shot Zahir a fiery glare.

Zahir looked down at him with an amused expression and asked, “Wesley, are you really so stubborn that you can’t admit you misjudged someone?”

Wesley snapped back, “I didn’t misjudge her! Jada is genuinely kind-hearted!”

He clung to the idea of Jada’s kindness, despite the despair that engulfed him. No one seemed to care about him. When his brother returned, it felt like Zahir had simply taken his place. A wave of misery washed over him.

“Alright, if you believe that, then do as I say. If Jada helps you, you won’t be grounded anymore, and you’ll inherit half the company in the future.” With that, Zahir handed him a phone.

Wesley’s eyes lit up with a flicker of hope. “Really? You’re not lying to me, are you?”

Caution crept back into his demeanor. “You wouldn’t let me off that easy. What do you want me to do?”

“Call Jada and tell her you’ve caused a scene and that your grandfather has cut ties with you. Ask if you can stay at her place for a while,” Zahir replied.

Wesley sighed in relief, thinking it was simple enough. “Fine, I’ll prove to you that Jada is truly kind-hearted. She’d help even a complete stranger!”

Confidence surged through him.

Zahir merely sneered as Wesley dialed the number.
