Chapter 652

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 652:

It seemed that Wesley had lost all value for her. Now that he had been expelled from his family, it was best to cut ties with him quickly.

There was no need to send the message. With a decisive swipe, Jada deleted it and stormed out of the hotel.

Inside the room, Zahir held his phone in his hand, which displayed the hotel’s surveillance footage.

The brothers watched as Jada made her exit. Wesley scratched his head in confusion.

“Why was she eavesdropping on us?” he asked.

Zahir responded with a cold tone, “If I’m not mistaken, she was trying to figure out whether you really had been kicked out of the family. If she discovered that you hadn’t, she would have gone to great lengths to regain your trust. She might even tell you that her harsh words were just a strategy to keep you from clashing with Grandpa.”

Wesley trembled at the thought. If Jada had sent him that message, he probably would have fallen for it and felt guilty toward her.

Zahir sighed, glancing at his younger brother, who was still too trusting. “It’s not your fault. Jada’s an expert at mind games. Madisyn was the one who raised these suspicions, but now it’s clear—this is exactly the kind of move Jada would pull.”

“Madisyn?” Wesley’s face twisted in discomfort at the mention of Rosemarie’s other name.

“You’re not a kid anymore, Wesley. It’s time to start thinking about your future,” Zahir said firmly.

Wesley finally realized his mistakes. “I’m sorry, Zahir. I see where I went wrong now.”

In that moment, it hit him how foolish he had been—played by Jada like a puppet, blindly viewing everyone around him as an enemy.

All along, he had been the most naive, the easiest to manipulate. Wesley’s hands balled into fists.

He couldn’t wrap his head around why Jada would do something like this. They had grown up together—did their bond mean nothing to her?

“Jada only cares about herself, Wesley. For someone like her, feelings don’t matter,” Zahir said, reading Wesley’s thoughts. “Take some time to reflect, and go apologize to Grandpa.”

Wesley gave a small nod, lowering his head in defeat. “Okay, Zahir.”

Zahir didn’t say anything else. He knew Wesley needed space to process everything.

Madisyn had spent days organizing the assessment, working closely with the other examiners. Now, the papers were ready, and the assessment was set to begin.

As Madisyn walked beside Jared, he suddenly burst out, “You’ve got to be kidding me! What’s Jada thinking now?”

Madisyn glanced at Jared’s phone and saw the news—Jada had signed up for the Qiviut Organization’s assessment.
